"Thank you all for coming. Your presence has added a different kind of brilliance to Duner Star..." As the host, David stepped into the center of the hall to deliver his speech after all the invited guests had arrived.

Halfway through his speech, his expression suddenly changed.

Two teleportation requests had come from the planetary Portal—one from Archbishop Barney of the Earth Temple, and the other from Archbishop Julian of the Temple of Justice.

In God's Great World, Fifth-Rank Temple Knights might be the most powerful figures in the secular world, but the ones who truly controlled this world were the temples, and archbishops were the rulers of those temples.

Thus, it could be said that the five archbishops were the true people in power in God's Great World.

David had never considered that an archbishop might come in person. He knew that archbishops did not attend receptions like this.

"Everyone, I sincerely apologize, but I must go outside the castle to welcome the great Archbishop Barney and Archbishop Julian!" David stopped his speech and bowed as he spoke.

"Lord Arthur, we shall welcome them with you!" Lord Gould was also startled, but he quickly nodded to the dozens of lords beside him before speaking.

The "we" Lord Gould referred to was the loose alliance that still had no name.

"Please allow us to welcome them with you as well!" The other Temple Knights also bowed and said.

There was no need to mention the priests of the five great temples. Whether the archbishops belonged to their own temples or not, they had to go out and greet them.

Thus, when David walked out of the castle, every guest attending the reception stood outside the castle with him.
