Klein's Discontent
Klein pursed his lips; he no longer had any expectations of this shy little girl.
This senior colleague is truly no less capable than any man!
"Maxi, no, he's called Marcy now. Marcy gave me a different experience, but she's too clingy now and is trying to get me to wear that extraordinary thing that turns me into a man. God knows, I really don't want to be a man!"
If I didn't still want the Witch's Potion recipe, I would have broken up with her, but her body is just too wonderful. I've decided to spend some more time with her—no, just half a month. I guess she'll tell me the Witch's Potion recipe soon."
Klein:...
No, senior, where did you get your Potion recipes from?
No wonder Lynch knew so many Potion recipes; could it be that this senior obtained them all using this method?
Are all handicrafts this amazing?
He shook his head enviously, his gaze shifting downwards.
"On October 8th, Marcy came to see me again. She said she was leaving because she might have attracted the attention of the official Beyonder. She asked me if I wanted to leave with her."
Of course I refused. I'm different from her. I'm quite safe here. After all, the Seer Pathway from Sequence 9 to Sequence 7 don't cause much trouble. I just need to stay in the circus. This is the destiny of Seer."
Klein:...
Are they really going to stay in the circus and perform?
Is there really no decent way to play the role?
This is really worrying.
"I had sex with Marcy again before we parted, which I'd call a farewell fling. She said she'd never forget me, and I nodded. Thinking about how the Demoness of Pleasure appears later in the Demoness, could Marcy be considered someone who played that role beforehand?"
However, if that time comes, Marcy probably won't be as naive as she is now, at least not in matters of the heart; I'm not referring to anything else.
Before Marcy left, she made me promise that she was my only the Lovers, and I agreed half-heartedly. In reality, I planned to change my identity after I became Faceless.
I want to be like Klein, heading straight out to sea and becoming a legend of the seas. Then I'll change my name to Kleintrans, just in time to open the eyes of the Fool and his angels!
Klein's lips twitched; what he really wanted to say was that this senior was really opening his eyes.
However, he did not speak, but instead pondered the words written by the woman.
Will Lynch, the Angel under his command, become Angel?
Lynch is a very capable guy, and he plays the role very quickly, so it's perfectly normal for him to become Angel.
He was simply curious why Lynch wasn't even more powerful.
Could it be that there's no Sefirah Castle, or that the Sleepless have Pathway the Evernight Goddess?
He wasn't quite sure about this, so he put his question aside and looked at the other things the senior had written.
This senior colleague believes he will go far out to sea. Is it because he left the Nighthawks squad to develop on his own, or is he on a mission assigned by the Nighthawks?
It's not clear at all; this senior doesn't care at all about what the people reading the diary think!
However, he quickly remembered that a diary is a private item, and reading a diary is inherently wrong; his senior had even said it was a fetish.
However, this was given to him by Catlin, and it has little to do with him.
Klein shook his head guiltily and scattered the diary.
That concludes today's gathering.
He was so tired. That Celestial Worthy must have been secretly absorbing his energy, which was why he was so exhausted.
Maliciously curse that Celestial Worthy!
After dinner.
Lynch was chatting with Benson and the others when he subtly revealed the exam textbooks to Benson. This wasn't easy, as he couldn't explain how he knew so much.
Fortunately, Klein, who was standing nearby, would say a few words in his defense, which led Benson to believe that Lynch had overheard a big shot's conversation and thus learned about these things.
"I'll memorize those books. Sigh, I used to say Lynch had a hard time studying, but now that I'm studying myself, I realize how difficult it is."
Benson touched his dwindling hair and said.
Lynch pretended not to hear, because his memory was now so good that Benson would be jealous.
Benson didn't expect Lynch to reply; he simply picked up the book and began diligently memorizing it.
Lynch stood up and stretched.
"Can I exercise in the living room? The room isn't big enough. The combat course instructor Dunn signed me up for makes me do 100 sit-ups, 100 push-ups, and 100 squats every day, and I haven't done any of those yet!"
No one objected.
Apart from Klein reminding him to wear a shirt and not go shirtless, there were no problems.
Lynch told him to put his mind at ease.
"That teacher told me to wear a suit when I trained, because he said I couldn't go into battle naked."
"Fighting?"
Melissa raised her voice and shouted, "Why are you still fighting? What kind of work are you doing? It sounds so dangerous!"
Lynch shrugged.
"Well, you know, there are always some difficult clients. Klein and his colleagues are in clerical positions, so those of us who do odd jobs have to stand by and help deal with those people. But don't worry, when I'm with Klein, I definitely won't let him get bothered by those people."
He spoke with conviction, earning grateful looks from Melissa and Benson.
As for him saying he did odd jobs, that's fine too, since that's exactly what Klein said about him in front of Benson and the others.
"Thank you for taking care of him. I don't think anyone else on his team is as attentive as you!"
Benson expressed his gratitude.
Others may also protect Klein, but none could be as dedicated as Lynch. That's the difference between family and others.
But what about your safety...?
Melissa couldn't help but say something, but Lynch immediately lifted her up.
"Look at my strength! I'm not an office worker. Ever since I realized I wasn't good at studying, I've been working in this area. Don't worry!"
Lynch said proudly, and even demonstrated a hundred one-finger push-ups to Melissa in front of her. He even invited Melissa to sit on his back to see his strength.
However, after Klein said he wanted to come up too, he immediately stood up.
Brothers may be brothers, but a brother can never be above him!
"Your company should give you a raise!"
Benson exclaimed after Lynch finished his workout in one go.
He believes Lynch is truly gifted in terms of strength.
"It's already gone up. I forgot to tell you, now I'm making four pounds a week, and it won't be long before I catch up with Klein. I told you last time that they're planning to take me to Backlund, where I'll get another raise."
We might be able to rent a better place back then. Don't worry about money, I have the funds. You two can move in!
Lynch promised.
Benson and Melissa were both touched, but Klein rolled his eyes at him and said, "Is it really that big of a deal? All I did was try sitting on you, and now you're not even going to let me stay? Look at how stingy and miserly you are!"
