Seeing that Klein was unhappy, Lynch remembered that there was this guy. He had planned to take this guy's brother and sister away to be his family, but forgot to make arrangements for Klein.

The main reason was that he was certain that Klein would leave this place. After all, the Evernight Goddess was making Klein contact with the Sun Sacred Emblem as soon as possible, so Klein's departure was obviously a foregone conclusion.

Of course, maybe he guessed wrong, so let's just assume he was talking nonsense.

"You're overthinking it. You can stay here too. I'll reserve a room for you, so you can go back and stay anytime."

Lynch said casually.

Klein was relieved and then began to frantically calculate how much he could reduce his expenses each month if Lynch paid all the rent.

"Alright, it's already 10:30. My advice is that everyone should go to sleep. Early to bed and early to rise is good for you. Don't be like Klein, he just never exercises..."

Lynch checked the time and said.

Before he could finish speaking, Klein interrupted him with a cough.

Klein knew perfectly well that Lynch meant to say he often fainted.

This must not be told to Melissa and Benson; they would be terrified.

What's wrong with him?

Melissa asked warily.

"I have a cold and a cough."

Lynch was just trying to scare Klein; he didn't intend to frighten Melissa and Benson. So he smiled and pointed at Klein, who was afraid he would say something inappropriate. Klein coughed and choked, and this time it was a real cough.

Perhaps sensing that Klein really needed exercise, Melissa woke Klein up at six o'clock the next morning and told him to go for a run and come back.

So much so that when Klein was riding in the carriage with Lynch to work, he kept looking at Lynch with resentful eyes, wanting him to know the consequences of his words and to feel a little guilty.

However, Lynch certainly didn't feel guilty. He even used Melissa's actions that morning to lecture Klein, indicating that Klein really needed to exercise.

"You've fainted so many times, haven't you? I only come back every Monday afternoon to run some errands and find you fainting. You must be having problems all the time. If it weren't for the fact that two different doctors I called said you were fine and just too tired, I would have suspected you had some terminal illness. What did you do to make yourself faint from exhaustion?"

He deliberately raised his voice and asked.

Klein turned his head away, looking rather guilty.

What could he say?

You can't exactly say that you were pretending to be an evil god and holding meetings with people on Sefirah Castle, or that you were tricking Lynch into reciting his diary to you every week on Sefirah Castle, can you?

He was afraid of getting himself killed if he said these things.

Klein's mind raced, and under Lynch's threatening gaze, he finally came up with an explanation. He said that he was jealous and stressed because Lynch was learning so fast lately, so he could only secretly study in his room after work every day, which was why he was so tired.

Lynch laughed at this reason the whole way.

He could only pretend he hadn't heard it. After all, Lynch had seen him in all sorts of embarrassing situations, and it was just a little jealousy, nothing more.

But Klein soon regretted making up such a lame excuse, because as soon as Lynch entered the security company, he told Dunn, Leonard, and Old Neil about it and asked them to give him psychological counseling.

Lynch seemed to think that his pressure came from these three people, so he unceremoniously asked them to comfort him.

Dunn was alright; he spoke gently and mainly offered advice. Old Neil was also fine; we assured him that we would reduce the amount of classes he taught each day to try and ease his stress.

Only Leonard, this guy was convinced that he was going to do something big, and he was already laying the groundwork. He comforted him a couple of times in front of Lynch, but after Lynch left, he started to mock him and vowed to find something to use against him, which made Klein so angry that he wanted to fight him.

Klein regretted it, really, he was extremely regretful now.

Although Lynch swore he only told these three people, Klein was already certain that it wouldn't be long before word spread among the Nighthawks that he had studied himself into a stupor because he was jealous of Lynch.

This was Leonard's implication, as if spreading Klein's deeds would give him leverage over Klein.

But Klein couldn't say anything to Lynch, since it was he who had fainted and caused concern, and it was a reason he had made up himself; Lynch was just worried about him.

Lynch said he had wanted to interrogate him last time, but felt it wasn't a good idea, so he gave him some time to calm down. He didn't expect him to faint again this time, which was why Lynch did this.

It was well-reasoned and supported by evidence; Klein simply didn't know how to refute it.

Perhaps this is the price to pay for becoming an evil god!

To his delight, however, the Clown Potion was mostly digested.

Indeed, Clown aren't just something that can appear in circuses; they can also appear quite easily in real life, just like him!

On Thursday afternoon, Lynch, who rarely spends time at the security company, was listening to Leonard comfort Klein in the lounge when Dunn walked in.

"It looks like you're about to fight."

Dunn looked at Leonard helplessly.

He knew without even guessing that Leonard was deliberately doubting Klein again, and Klein had been at odds with him for the past few days.

"It wasn't a fight; they said it was to comfort each other."

Lynch offered an explanation from the side.

They were fighting, yet they kept huddled together, whispering in each other's ears. He even suspected they were dating.

"Comfort..."

Dunn seemed skeptical, but by then Leonard and Klein had already let go of each other, so he dropped the subject.

"Lynch, this is your letter. Mountbatten just delivered it."

Dunn gave a letter to Lynch.

Then he handed another letter to Klein and said with a laugh, "You two would be better off having your informants come out and talk to you face-to-face than sending them here in person!"

Lynch shrugged. He hadn't told Mountbatten to leave after delivering the message; it was Mountbatten's own arrangement.

However, Mountbatten sending the message also means there might be clues about Ansali.

He opened the letter immediately.

Sure enough, Mountbatten said they had found Ansali's trail; she hadn't stayed at the hotel that day, but someone had taken her in as a servant.

Mountbatten continued the investigation until today, when they discovered Ansali's whereabouts in the mental hospital.

Mountbatten said he had people positioned next to the mental hospital so they could secretly follow Ansari if Ansali came out.

Mental hospital?

Lynch looked at Klein. Could it be that Klein received a letter from his informant, the doctor at the mental hospital, reporting that Hood Eugen gone mad?

If they go to a mental hospital together now, Ansali could just explode...

No, Ansali won't erupt now. Ince Zangwill will send Ansali to the security company because he needs Saint Selena's Ashes.

But what is the purpose of making this arrangement now?

To contaminate Dunn, and incidentally remind him that it's about to begin?
