This is too fun
Are you here to commission something?
As soon as Lynch joined the Nighthawks team, a woman with long red waves and wearing a business suit asked him curiously.
He was startled; he had been thinking about the horror movies he had watched in his past life the whole way, and now he was almost scared to death.
However, this woman is still beautiful and has nothing to do with evil spirits.
Even if it were related, Lynch felt he wasn't afraid; he could take on several people with one punch.
"A commission? Oh, right, Dunn has turned this place into something similar to Tingen, a security company too. But I'm not here for a commission, I'm here to work. Where's Dunn?"
Lynch wiped the sweat from his face and asked.
The woman paused for a moment, then her expression changed to one of sudden realization.
"Are you Mr. Trance? Dunn told me that Mr. Trance is very handsome."
Lynch immediately burst out laughing.
He wasn't actually that handsome.
"Ahem, yes, I am Lynch Trans. I was originally planning to have Dunn introduce us, but I can introduce myself now. My name is Lynch Trans, Beyonder from Tingen, currently Sequence 7."
Lynch took off his hat, gave a gentlemanly bow, which made the lady laugh.
"Ah, my name is Erica Green. I've experienced an extraordinary event before, but I don't intend to become Beyonder, so Dunn hired me as a clerk. I hope we can work well together."
Erica extended her hand.
Lynch took it, touched it lightly with his lips, and then let go.
"That's too light. You should use more weight; ladies like something strong!"
Lynch:----
He initially thought he could easily handle this woman, but now he feels like he's nothing more than a piece of cake in her presence.
She speaks very bluntly.
"Uh, I need to talk to the captain, I have to go now!"
Lynch waved his hand, asked Erica Dunn where her office was, and then quickly ran over.
It was terrifying; he suddenly felt that the woman was even more frightening than an evil spirit.
When Lynch arrived, Dunn was looking at a document. When he saw Lynch coming, he gave Dunn an amused look.
"I remember I gave you a day off to stay home and tidy up—"
Lynch nodded frantically.
Yes, he was cleaning up, but now he suspects there are evil spirits in the house.
"Evil spirit----"
Dunn frowned. Lynch had just told him about the strange noises he heard in the house. He didn't think there was anything wrong with the house, but rather that there was something wrong with Lynch.
"I suggest you go to the underground and find the bishop to perform a soothing Ritual for you. I think that's what you need. You might be showing signs of losing control because of Klein's death."
Lynch and Leonard picked out the house themselves; he could guarantee it was spotless. How could it possibly have any evil spirits?
How is that possible?
Lynch couldn't help but exclaim.
He knew that Klein was not dead at all and would not lose control because of Klein.
Moreover, he felt that he was in good condition.
It just always feels a bit noisy; there seem to be barely perceptible whispers around my ears, but I can't hear them if I listen carefully.
Wait, a whisper?
Lynch immediately stood up.
Damn, he needs the bishop's help!
We mustn't let him lose control before he even gets started; that would be a real problem.
To his relief, however, the bishop told him that he showed no signs of losing control; he had probably just not slept well.
He breathed a sigh of relief, said goodbye to Dunn, and went back to sleep, only feeling refreshed when he slept until morning.
Perhaps he was tired from moving these past few days, and yesterday he also took down the Sleepless's Pathway, which made him very sleepy, which is why it was so scary.
He sighed and hired a carriage to go directly to the security company.
Dunn is truly inflexible. They've already arrived in Backlund, and Dunn is still running Blackthorn Security Company. Couldn't he have chosen something else?
"Honey, I heard I was able to transfer here because of you. Dunn even said you want to date me?"
Perhaps it was just bad luck, but as soon as Lynch entered the security company, he heard Miss Daly's voice.
He immediately covered his face, begging not to be hit!
It was quite funny when I teased Dunn back then, but now I feel extremely embarrassed.
"I'm sorry, I just want him to make a decision quickly, after all—"
Before he could finish speaking, Miss Daly gave him a light kiss on the cheek.
"Alright! I didn't mean to blame you. This is Dunn's problem. He never seems to take the initiative. Luckily, you guys reminded him."
I dare say he definitely didn't intend to invite me. God knows I had already spoken to the former captain, and I would have been so embarrassed if he hadn't.
Daly glanced at Dunn's office with displeasure.
She had seen Dunn's letter before and immediately sent a messenger to have a huge argument with him. It was infuriating that Lynch had to ask for her invitation, and what's worse, that guy Dunn had written it directly in his letter.
"Don't worry, I'll definitely teach him a lesson for you!"
Lynch quickly assured him.
However, Miss Daly refused.
"No need for that, I taught him a lesson for two nights straight!"
Lynch:----
Please don't tell single people things like that, okay?
"Oh, Lynch, you're so much fun! If I hadn't run into Dunn, I definitely would have tried it with you!"
Daly burst out laughing.
Lynch sighed deeply. He suspected that this Miss Daly actually wanted the captain to kill him, judging by the outrageous things she was saying.
"Alright, stop teasing Lynch. We just got a request; someone wants to find this boy named Ian. He's been spotted in the Cherwood Borough recently. Go investigate."
Dunn came out of his office and said gently.
Lynch glanced at the portrait in Dunn's hand; it depicted a teenage boy.
Ian.
Cherwood Borough?
Klein is currently living in the Cherwood Borough. Could this boy be the culprit from the original story who took five pounds and then made Klein pay a huge sum to assassinate the ambassador?
Was this a coincidence or was it orchestrated?
Lynch hesitated for a moment, but still agreed. Whether it was a coincidence or not, he wanted to see Klein's panicked face right now.
He had already reminded Klein in his diary at the Sefirah Castle that if that guy was still exposed, it wouldn't be his problem; the Fool might die there today.
Lynch couldn't help but laugh at the thought of Klein's expression.
Of course, he didn't forget to look at Dunn and ask, "Don't we need to Dream Infiltration?"
"We'll talk about it tonight. Most people don't sleep much during the day, and it would seem abrupt, especially since it's just a street. You can't possibly ask everyone in their Dream Infiltration, can you?"
Dunn said helplessly.
Then he looked at Daly and asked curiously, "Where's Leonard? He should have arrived earlier than Lynch this morning, and I think I just heard you talking to him."
Daly smiled, glanced at Lynch, and said, "He went to the lounge to write a reply. I don't know who reminded Rozanne that Leonard and Klein are having an affair. Leonard just received her letter, which asked him if he was the top or the bottom, and how he felt. Pfft, this is hilarious!"
