Mr. Fool's Shamelessness
"Mr. Fool, I've filled in six more pages of my diary."
Mr. Hanged Man quickly diverted his regret with his diary; after all, he couldn't very well ask Mr. Power for another quill pen now—that would seem rather odd.
Moreover, asking for something is clearly different from what Mr. Power gives; who knows if Mr. Power's elders will actually go looking for him again.
He couldn't stand those skeletons.
"Mr. Fool, I also wrote a page in my diary."
Lynch raised his hand.
Klein snorted inwardly. Lynch had almost scared Mr. Fool to death outside and even left two pennies to humiliate Mr. Fool, yet he only gave him one page of the diary in Sefirah Castle. That was really too much!
Klein really wanted to punish Lynch in Sefirah Castle, but then he realized he didn't even have a way to punish him, which was a sad story.
The powerless Mr. Fool, holding his breath, took the diaries given to him by Lynch and the Mr. Hanged Man, and then looked at Roselle's Diary first.
The first two pages describe Roselle's meeting with Zaratul, from which he learns that the name of the Seer Sequence 2 is Miracle Invoker.
The third page of the diary entry expresses Roselle's concern that his Steam invention might be stolen.
Page four describes how Roselle's wife became pregnant, and how Roselle felt that a part of his Beyonder Characteristic had been passed on to the child.
Page five describes Roselle's psychological journey in plagiarizing the Count of Monte Cristo.
Page six shows Roselle meeting with Solomon, hoping Solomon can rob his rivals on the new sea route.
Klein pondered for a moment, then turned his attention to the diary Lynch had brought over.
"On February 5th, I completely digested the Magician's Potion and was ready to leave. But I suddenly realized that I didn't have any effective extraordinary items, like the Creeping Hunger. Mr. Power and Creeping Hunger worked together so well, and I had nothing but myself."
I'm worried I might encounter danger and die when I go out. I'm not Klein; he can come back to life, but I can't. I have to be careful about that.
By the way, I've prepared most of the Potion ingredients for the Faceless. Now, I only need to obtain the Human Skin Shadow's properties. I wonder if Dex can find them for me.
I haven't been seeing Dex as much lately. I told him I wanted to Advancement quickly for our future, but actually, I'm just tired of him.
Dex and Isaac are two different types. Isaac is very gentle, while Dex is a bit aggressive. It's one thing for him to be aggressive in bed, but now he even tries to control my life very strictly. I really don't like this.
But I couldn't bear to part with his face, and besides, I was leaving soon, so I figured I'd just Indulgence for the last while!
The diary ends here, Klein shook his head helplessly.
The contents of this diary were obviously not very useful, but he did find the main material about the Faceless in it.
The characteristics of the Human Skin Shadow.
He doesn't know if this is a complete set of materials, but he can start preparing to collect them now.
The problem is, he still doesn't know the Magician's Potion recipe, which leaves him feeling rather helpless.
Klein put down the diary in his hand, leaned back in his chair, and sighed with a headache.
That Celestial Worthy really seized every opportunity to absorb his Spirituality; he was truly exhausted.
I wonder if things would be better Advancement to Magician.
That senior tarot reader Stephanie, doesn't know when she'll be able to write a solution; she feels like she's about to die from exhaustion every time she holds Tarot Club.
"You may begin your discussion."
Klein said, feigning composure.
Then he became a little irritated. He actually wanted to issue a mission at the Tarot Club because he had recently gotten into trouble.
He followed Ms. Stephanie's diary and refused Ian's request, thinking that was the end of it. But then a man suddenly appeared yesterday, asking him to find Ian's whereabouts.
He refused, of course, but judging from the other party's expression, they wouldn't give up.
He really wanted to issue a mission to have the members of the Tarot Club protect him, but after thinking about it, he gave up.
For Mr. Fool to issue such a task is incredibly beneath his dignity. Even if he made an excuse that his followers needed protection, it would still make him seem Fool useless.
He shook his head, deciding he had to think of a way to create a alternate account, otherwise nothing he did would be convenient.
"Mr. Sun, may I ask you about Dragon? You mentioned before that the Spectator comes from the Dragon Race."
Miss Justice spoke immediately after Klein said they could communicate.
She realized that Mr. Fool would end the Tarot Club soon after reading the diary, and worried that if she didn't ask sooner, she would miss the chance.
"Mr. Sun, whatever you want, I will try my best to get it for you."
"Miss Justice spoke again."
"I want the Light Suppliant's Potion recipe."
The Sun immediately offered its own idea.
Lynch immediately raised his hand, determined to grab the money.
But Klein shamelessly acted one step ahead of time.
"I'll take care of it! It just so happens that my followers are short of funds while operating in Backlund, Miss Justice. I'll pay for the Light Suppliant recipe for you."
Lynch silently lowered his arm.
He realized that Klein had gone a bit crazy for money; he was acting Fool!
They actually tried to take such a small amount of money from the members!
"Very well, I will give you four hundred and fifty pounds. I hope he enjoys using it."
Miss Justice said enthusiastically.
Klein sighed. He thought Miss Justice would give him five hundred pounds; she always rounded down the amount when giving Mr. Power, often adding fifty pounds.
When it came to him, he didn't receive any extra.
But he couldn't raise any objections, since Miss Justice had given him a lot of money, and that money was the value of Sequence 8 Light Suppliant.
"This is his anonymous account."
Klein casually pushed the slip of paper from his Backlund account to Miss Justice, saying that Miss Justice could take a look at it casually and could ask for it after leaving the Sefirah Castle.
"OK!"
Miss Justice glanced at the note and set it aside. Then she raised her hand and said, "Mr. Fool, I would like to listen to Mr. Sun's story with Mr. Power."
Perhaps Mr. Power can say something that will let her know more!
Mr. Power is always so warm and kind. He must have just been planning to give Little Sun the Potion recipe of the Light Suppliant free of charge so that he could help her.
This person is so noble.
Thinking of this, Audrey covered her face in embarrassment.
She forgot that she didn't mean Mr. Fool's followers were not noble; she just thought Mr. Power was different from everyone else.
That's right, that's exactly it!
As Miss Justice praised Lynch in her mind, Mr. Hanged Man next to her moved helplessly. He really wanted to tell Miss Justice that he was also a member here and not to exclude him, as it was making him feel really awkward.
But he soon ran out of things to say, because Mr. Fool had blocked him out.
