"Sir, rats are following us. We've detected six of them in three locations, all between five hundred and eight hundred meters away. They may all be Jonin," Hyuga Tokugawa reported to Yueguang Han as the Konoha squad advanced at speed.
"Young Han, should we ambush them and capture them? We might be able to interrogate them and learn something about the Stone Village's troop distribution," Yueguang Xingye asked.
"Now isn't the time. One of them is a Sensory Ninja, so they may discover our movements. I'll capture them personally tonight. It won't be long now," Yueguang Han said, looking at the sky where the sun was about to set, then continued leading the squad forward.
At night, beneath the moon's faint glow, Yueguang Han led the Konoha Ninjas over a ridge. Below it, in the darkness, they saw a village dotted with faint lights. It was only about one and a half li from the ridge. The other side of the village was an empty expanse, which should be farmland reclaimed beside the village.
"Our luck is pretty good. We'll have a decent place to spend the night," Yueguang Han shouted to the Konoha Ninjas behind him as he looked at the scattered lights below.
"Tokugawa, sense that village below immediately. It would be even better if there are Ninjas inside," Yueguang Han ordered Hyuga Tokugawa. After giving the order, he also created several DJI Drones and sent them flying toward the village below.
"Sir, I didn't detect anything unusual. The village is full of faint Chakra signatures belonging to ordinary people. There aren't many of them, either—fewer than thirty," Hyuga Tokugawa reported to Yueguang Han two minutes later with his Byakugan activated. But when his Byakugan saw Yueguang Han, his entire body froze.
