Background

Chen Feng arrived in Wushan Town at the age of six and began physical training. For three years, his extremely poor cultivation aptitude prevented him from reaching First-Rank Warrior, despite being the hardest-working child in the town. Hillman considered persuading him to stop, but could not bring himself to extinguish Chen Feng’s ambition to become stronger 1 19.

After becoming a First-Rank Warrior, Chen Feng awakened the Strongest Support System. The system could scan nearby lifeforms and treasures, convert energy-bearing items into Energy Points, and directly enhance his body and cultivation with those points. Because he could sense only lightning and light elements, both with the lowest-grade affinity, he focused on the warrior path and bought the lightning-attribute Xunlei Art 2.

He befriended Linley while training in Wushan Town. Although Chen Feng knew his natural talent was poor, he rapidly advanced through system-assisted cultivation and eventually left for the Magical Beast Mountain Range to hunt magical beasts and acquire Energy Points 3 6 7.

In the mountain range, Chen Feng amassed resources, purchased a Random Divine Beast Bloodline from the Mysterious Shop, and fused it into the God-Slaying Rat bloodline. The fusion transformed his aptitude and granted him a powerful bloodline transformation 8 11 12. He later reached the Saint Realm naturally, rather than spending Energy Points, because he wished to preserve resources for rarer Mysterious Shop items 16.

After returning to Wushan Town, Chen Feng distributed Battle Qi Manuals to Hillman for residents with cultivation aptitude. He then met Beirut, who revealed that Chen Feng was his descendant and valued him as the first human descendant known to awaken the God-Slaying Rat bloodline 19.

Appearance

Chen Feng was a small, youthful-looking boy when he left Wushan Town before age twelve, but by age nineteen had grown to nearly 1.9 meters and matured considerably. After reaching the Saint Realm, his physical appearance became fixed at approximately eighteen years old 18 16.

Personality

Chen Feng is pragmatic and survival-oriented. His desire to live longer drives much of his early cultivation: he recognizes that warriors below the seventh rank have ordinary lifespans and resolves to become stronger rather than accept mortality 4.

He is cautious with risks and favors battles he expects to win. In the Magical Beast Mountain Range, he avoids stronger opponents when unnecessary; later, he postpones challenging the Necropolis of the Gods’ sixteenth floor until his clones are stronger 9 54. He also plans long-term, saving Energy Points, Divine Source Points, and Origin Power for opportunities that could advance his path beyond conventional cultivation 16 51 77.

Despite becoming increasingly confident and indifferent toward minor resources, Chen Feng remains grateful to Wushan Town and protective of Linley and the Baruch Clan. He gives manuals to his hometown, intervenes to save Hogg, provides Linley with valuable resources and Godheads, and kills Adkins after Adkins threatens Linley’s side 17 19 23 61.

Path of Transcendence
