Background / History

Orloff and Augusta originated as one entity but developed into separate consciousnesses. Orloff discarded the thoughts he considered impediments to growth, while Augusta inherited traits such as tyranny, greed, and pettiness. Despite their separation, Augusta's Sovereign status supplied Orloff with an additional portion of Willpower, and Orloff repeatedly restrained or protected him when it suited his own plans. 73 74 91

As the Chief Sovereign of Fate, Orloff ruled from the Celestial Realm and was recognized as the strongest Sovereign. He secretly assembled all three Supreme Artifacts, with the material-attack artifact placed in Augusta's hands and the soul-defense artifact disguised as a garden. 91

Chen Feng's Willpower Rune research drew Orloff's attention. He attended Utrecht's Sovereign Conference to inspect Chen Feng's High-level Sovereign Artifact, not because he needed its power, but because he wanted to understand and incorporate the Willpower Rune's principles into his own strength. 88 89

After Chen Feng revealed the All-Element Transcendence Method, Orloff became determined to pursue it. He observed Clementine's divine-clone Devouring process closely, then left the Celestial Realm for the Musa Plane, relinquishing his Sovereign power to become a single-element Grand Perfection. 113 117 119

On the Musa Plane, Orloff created an independent cultivation space and rebuilt nine divine clones. Augusta repeatedly sent Sovereign projections to disrupt this effort, fearing that Orloff intended to eventually Devour him; Orloff destroyed the projections and kept his clones close enough to protect them. 119 120

Chen Feng later sought Orloff's guidance after failing to Devour a Fate divine clone. Their exchange of Fate-law insights benefited Chen Feng significantly.
