City
Seeing this, Dai Tianyu didn't hesitate and jumped in after him.
Fu Ze did the same, his figure flashing and disappearing into the darkness.
Tang San stood at the edge of the cave entrance and glanced back at Tang Hao.
Tang Hao nodded to him and said in a deep voice, "Go, and remember your master's words. In this place, do not show any mercy!"
Tang San nodded emphatically, took one last look at his father, and then turned and jumped into the darkness.
Tang Hao stood at the edge of the cave, gazing into the bottomless darkness, his eyes gleaming, lost in thought.
A moment later, he turned and left the tavern, disappearing into the dimly lit end of the street.
The passageway is very long and extends downwards at an angle.
Fu Shiyan walked at the front, her pace neither hurried nor slow.
Her long, silvery-white hair fluttered gently in the eerie wind blowing from the depths of the cave, and her dark robes rustled in the wind.
His gaze was calm, as if he were strolling in his own backyard, rather than walking on the road to death Slaughter City.
A chilling aura constantly swept over his body; the coldness was different from the northern winds, more like a blood-stained chill seeping from the depths of the earth.
There are occasional dark red mottled marks on the wall, it's hard to tell whether they are naturally formed minerals or blood that has dried up over many years.
Just then, he heard footsteps behind him.
Before long, Dai Tianyu and Fu Ze caught up.
Fu Ze quickly walked to Fu Shiyan's side and lowered his voice, saying, "Young Master, Young Master Tang San hasn't come down yet."
Upon hearing this, Fu Shiyan nodded and stopped in her tracks. The three of them stood there waiting for Tang San.
Dai Tianyu stood with his arms crossed, leaning against the wall of the passageway, his black hair fluttering gently in the cold wind.
He listened intently, a slight smile playing on his lips, and said, "It's here."
Footsteps came from above the passageway, growing closer and closer.
Tang San's figure emerged from the darkness and strode up to the group.
He glanced at Dai Tianyu, then looked at Fu Shiyan, and called out, "Master."
Fu Shiyan nodded. "Let's go."
The four continued walking forward.
The passageway was long, and the deeper one went, the stronger the chilling atmosphere became.
Dai Tianyu walked beside Tang San and asked in a low voice, "Xiao San, are you nervous?"
Tang San shook his head and replied, "I'm not nervous."
Dai Tianyu chuckled, "I'm not nervous at all, just a little excited."
This is understandable. After all, the rules and regulations in the Star Luo Empire made the naturally active Dai Tianyu very uncomfortable. He had been in this stifling environment for four whole years, which almost drove him crazy.
For him at this moment, the Slaughter City, a place without rules, regulations, or constraints, a place of only depravity and slaughter, was simply a paradise!
Tang San glanced at him but didn't say anything.
Just then, a cold voice suddenly came from all directions, echoing through the passageway:
Welcome to the Slaughter City.
The voice was neither male nor female, nor could it be discerned from direction; it seemed to seep from the walls, or perhaps it came from the depths of the earth.
"This is the capital of hell, a world filled with slaughter. Here, you can get anything you want—the price is your life."
Upon hearing this, a glint flashed in Dai Tianyu's eyes, and a grin spread across his face, revealing an excited smile.
Tang San remained calm, only clenching his fist.
Fu Shiyan stopped, closed her eyes, released a wisp of spiritual energy, and peered forward.
He discovered that the material of the tunnel was indeed very special, just as described in the original work, capable of isolating ordinary Soul Power perception.
But this did not stop his investigation. His mental energy, like invisible tentacles, extended forward along the tunnel, passing through layers of darkness, and soon he discovered the situation ahead.
A gateway.
Behind the door stood one hundred and one Black Armor Knight.
Behind those Black Armor Knight stood a black city.
A purple moon hung in the sky above the city.
After completing the investigation, Fu Shiyan withdrew her spiritual power, turned around, and said in a deep voice to Tang San, Dai Tianyu, and Fu Ze behind her:
"Stay close to me."
The three nodded in unison. "Yes!"
Fu Shiyan led the way forward.
After turning a corner, a faint light appeared ahead.
It was a cold, purplish light, unlike sunlight, more like moonlight.
The four of them walked out of the passageway.
Before them lay a wide-open space.
At the other end of the open space stood a black city.
Above the city, a purple moon hung low, radiating an eerie light.
The entire city was shrouded in the purple moonlight, making it appear eerie and unsettling.
On the open ground, one hundred and one Black Armor Knight stood ready.
One hundred black-armored warriors, each wielding a heavy sword, stood in a neat square formation, their thick armor gleaming coldly in the moonlight.
Their faces were completely obscured by helmets, making it impossible to see any expression; only the occasional glimpses of their eyes through the helmet gaps were cold and wary.
Only one person sat atop a tall warhorse.
The warhorse was entirely black, covered in heavy black armor, with only its eyes visible, which gleamed with a ghostly green light in the darkness.
The knight on horseback was tall, his armor thicker than that of the infantry, and a black feather was stuck on the top of his helmet, fluttering gently in the wind.
He held a long, slender knight's lance in his hand; the lance was as black as ink, and its tip gleamed coldly in the moonlight.
His voice was deep and cold, coming from behind the visor, devoid of any emotion:
"You have broken the rules."
Fu Shiyan ignored him.
He stood still, closed his eyes, and carefully felt the changes within his body.
His Spirit Ring Spirit Ring were indeed restricted by some kind of force, an invisible constraint, as if an invisible hand was holding them firmly in place, preventing them from being released.
However, he can still use his Soul Power and summon his Martial Soul normally.
More importantly, the Life Divine Power and Destruction Divine Power he embodies because of his character design can still be mobilized.
Those two forces flowed silently within him, unrestricted.
He could break free from the constraints on his Spirit Ring at any time through these two divine powers.
But he didn't choose to do that...
"Another deliveryman has arrived!"
Behind Fu Shiyan, Dai Tianyu let out a cold shout, clasped his hands in a fist salute, and his eyes were full of fighting spirit.
He directly summoned the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger Martial Soul, and a black tiger-shaped phantom floated behind him. Just as he was about to make a move, he suddenly froze.
"Where are my Spirit Ring?!"
His voice was filled with horror as he looked down at himself.
The Martial Soul did appear, but none of the Spirit Ring that should have been hovering beneath him appeared.
Upon seeing this, Tang San and Fu Ze also quickly summoned their Martial Soul.
The phantom of the Blue Silver Emperor appeared behind Tang San, with blue-gold vines swaying gently around him, and faint golden patterns flowing on the leaves.
The Heavenly Steel Soul-Breaking Halberd materialized in Fu Ze's hand, its dark body radiating a sharp killing intent.
However, their Spirit Ring did not appear either.
