The Battle of Two
The burly man's smile vanished, and he growled, "Die!"
With that, he raised his Iron Hammer and charged at Dai Tianyu!
The Iron Hammer, accompanied by a whistling sound, smashed straight towards Dai Tianyu's head!
A gasp of surprise came from the stands.
Dai Tianyu remained standing still, motionless.
Just as the Iron Hammer was about to strike his head, his figure vanished from the spot!
The burly man missed with his hammer, staggered forward a few steps, and almost fell.
He turned his head sharply, searching for Dai Tianyu's figure—
A hand reached out from behind and pressed down on the back of his head.
"Too slow."
Dai Tianyu's voice came from behind him, tinged with disappointment.
The burly man's pupils contracted sharply as he tried to struggle, only to find himself unable to move. The hand, like an iron clamp, gripped the back of his head tightly, pressing it downwards.
"Bang--!!!"
The burly man's face was slammed hard into the ground, sending shards of stone flying!
His nose was sunken, his teeth were knocked out, and blood gushed from his face!
Dai Tianyu released his grip, stood up, and took two steps back.
The burly man lay on the ground, twitched a few times, and was unable to get up again.
The entire hall fell silent.
The previously enthusiastic spectators in the stands fell silent, staring blankly at the black-haired boy in the arena.
Dai Tianyu clapped his hands, turned around and walked back to Fu Shiyan's side, saying calmly, "Master, it's resolved."
Fu Shiyan nodded without saying anything.
The Black Veil Maiden stood to the side, her gaze towards Dai Tianyu now filled with a hint of seriousness.
She had seen countless newcomers enter the Hell Slaughter Arena; some died, some came out alive. But she had never seen anyone defeat an opponent so effortlessly.
Although that burly man's Spirit Skill were restricted, his strength, speed, and combat experience were among the best of the outer city residents.
But against Dai Tianyu, he couldn't even withstand a single move.
Tang San watched Dai Tianyu's retreating figure, secretly astonished.
He knew Dai Tianyu was strong, but he never expected him to have become this strong after just a few years.
Fu Ze remained calm, as if all of this was expected.
Fu Shiyan closed her eyes and released her mental energy once again.
The entire layout of the Slaughter City was within his perception.
He opened his eyes, a deep, unsettling light flashing within them.
"Xiao San, Tian Yu," he suddenly spoke.
They both looked at him at the same time.
Fu Shiyan said calmly, "Get a good rest tonight."
"Tomorrow, you will go to the Hell Slaughter Arena for the competition. Afterwards, I'm going somewhere else; Fu Ze will stay here."
Dai Tianyu was taken aback. "Master, where are you going?"
Fu Shiyan didn't answer, she just glanced at him.
Dai Tianyu immediately understood that he shouldn't ask questions he shouldn't ask, and quickly nodded, "Understood, Master."
Tang San asked softly, "Master, is there anything we need to prepare?"
Fu Shiyan shook her head. "No need. Your mission is simply to survive in the Slaughter City. I'll handle the rest."
Tang San and Dai Tianyu exchanged a glance and nodded simultaneously.
Fu Ze stood to the side, looking at Fu Shiyan. His lips moved as if he wanted to say something, but in the end he kept his mouth shut.
He understood the Young Master's character. Once the Young Master had made a decision, he wouldn't change it.
All he could do was guard this place and protect Tang San and Dai Tianyu.
Night deepened.
A purple moon hung high overhead, casting an eerie light over the entire city of Slaughter City.
Fu Shiyan stood alone on a rock, looking up at the purple moon, her eyes sparkling.
He raised his hand, and a dark purple light appeared in his palm...
The next morning.
The purple moonlight still hangs high; there is no sunrise, no sunset, only eternal night and the purple moon.
Dai Tianyu pushed open the door, stretched, and looked refreshed.
He first stretched his limbs, then looked towards Tang San's room and called out, "Xiao San, are you up yet?"
The door opened, and Tang San walked out. His expression was calm; he had just finished cultivating.
Dai Tianyu grinned. "Let's go, to the Hell Slaughter Arena."
Tang San nodded. "Okay."
Fu Ze came out of another room, glanced at the two of them, and said in a deep voice, "The Young Master ordered that you go to the competition, and I will stay here."
Dai Tianyu waved his hand. "Uncle Ze, don't worry. Those weaklings aren't a match for me."
Fu Ze didn't reply, his gaze fixed on Tang San.
Tang San said softly, "Uncle Fu, don't worry, we'll be careful."
Fu Ze nodded.
The two left their residence and headed towards the Hell Slaughter Arena.
Fu Ze stood at the courtyard gate, watching their figures disappear at the end of the street, before turning around and walking back.
Hell Slaughter Arena - One After Another
Hell Slaughter Arena.
The stands were still packed, with cheers and shouts deafening. Purple moonlight streamed down, bathing the entire circular arena in a cold, eerie glow.
Today is Tang San's turn.
Dai Tianyu stood with his arms crossed at the edge of the stands, his black hair fluttering gently in the wind, a hopeful smile playing on his lips. He turned to Tang San beside him, raising an eyebrow. "Xiao San, it's up to you now."
Tang San nodded slightly, his expression calm. His long, blue-gold hair shimmered faintly under the purple light, and he wore a black, fitted outfit.
A staff member dressed in black armor walked over and handed him a wooden plaque with his number written on it—8359.
"It's your turn, in order." The staff member pointed to the center of the area and said coldly, "Go in. Come out alive."
Tang San took the wooden plaque, casually put it in his pocket, and strode towards the center of the arena.
Dai Tianyu called out from behind him, "Stop dawdling, finish this quickly! I'm still waiting to go on stage!"
Tang San waved his hand without turning his head.
There were already nine people standing in the center of the area.
They were all different kinds of people, some tall and some short, some fat and some thin, some carrying knives, some wielding axes, and some empty-handed.
But they all had one thing in common—they exuded a strong killing intent, and their eyes were filled with a bloodthirsty light.
Ten people fight each other, but only one can walk out alive. That's the rule of the Hell Slaughter Arena.
The cheers in the stands reached their peak.
"Kill! Kill! Kill!"
Tang San stood in the center of the arena, his gaze calmly sweeping over the nine people.
His hands hung naturally at his sides, without any movement, as if he didn't take the people in front of him seriously at all.
The nine men stared at him, their eyes filled with wariness.
Yesterday, that black-haired guy killed Iron Hammer with a single punch.
This blue-haired guy today, though he looks weak and unassuming, is definitely no pushover, given that he's with that monster.
"Attack together!" a burly man wielding two axes roared, charging towards Tang San first!
The other eight people also moved at the same time, rushing towards Tang San from all directions!
A gasp of surprise came from the stands.
Dai Tianyu's lips curled up slightly, his eyes filled with anticipation.
Tang San remained standing in the same spot, motionless.
Just as the nine men's attack was about to land, he raised his right hand, his five fingers loosely clenched.
