Tang Xiaomi

As he spoke, Tang Yu opened the door a crack with his eyes shut, then immediately tossed the clothes inside. The little beggar climbed out of the tub. After her bath, she looked like a completely different person. Her skin was crystal clear, and her short, wet hair clung to her head, with a few strands falling over her face. Once her little face was clean, she looked incredibly cute— even cuter than Xiao Wu.

After the little beggar got dressed, she opened the door and came out. Seeing her transformed appearance, Tang Yu couldn't help swallowing. He hadn't expected the little beggar to be so cute.

"Um, what's your name?" Tang Yu asked.

The little beggar shook her head. "I don't have a name."

This was the first time the little beggar had spoken. Her voice was soft and sweet, and it stirred something in Tang Yu. As a single guy who'd been alone for more than twenty years, he really couldn't handle it.

Tang Yu thought for a moment. "How about I give you a name?"

The little beggar nodded slightly, then gazed at Tang Yu with her bright, sparkling eyes, making him feel very self-conscious.

Tang Yu thought it over carefully. "How about Tang Xiaomi?"

To be honest, Tang Yu wasn't very good at coming up with names. He'd just picked the first one that came to mind that wasn't hard to say.

Tang Xiaomi was clearly obedient to Tang Yu. She nodded at his suggestion.

Tang Yu smiled. He'd been worried she wouldn't like it.

"Come on, let's find a clothing store and buy you a few outfits," Tang Yu said, heading outside.

Tang Xiaomi hurried after him and grabbed his hand. Tang Yu paused, then smiled and led her out of the restaurant.

When they reached a clothing store, Tang Yu and Tang Xiaomi looked around. He noticed her gaze linger on a white miniskirt and immediately said, "Boss, could you get me three of those white skirts?"

The shopkeeper glanced at Tang Xiaomi's height, then went to fetch three sets. Each set included a white short-sleeved top, a miniskirt, and a pair of white thigh-high stockings.

The shopkeeper was a thin, middle-aged woman. She took Tang Xiaomi to the changing area, and soon Tang Xiaomi came out in her new clothes. The woman had also tied up Tang Xiaomi's hair for her, though that did nothing to diminish her cuteness.

Tang Yu stared, dumbfounded, as Tang Xiaomi came out. She took tiny steps over to him, then gripped his left hand tightly with her right. Tang Yu smiled and turned to the woman. "Boss, how much for the three outfits?"

"Don't say I'm ripping you off. These clothes are made of the finest silk. I'll charge you ten gold coins for all three," the woman said.

Tang Yu nodded, handed her ten gold coins, then put the other two outfits into Infinite Space.

Just as Tang Yu was about to lead Tang Xiaomi away, the woman called out, "Young master, there's a matching men's outfit to go with that white miniskirt. Would you like one?"
