Tang Yu and Tang Xiaomi didn't return until evening. They first went to see Yu Xiaogang and report that they were safe, then went back to sleep.

Early the next morning

Everyone gathered on the training field. Oscar and Ma Hongjun immediately walked up to Tang Yu with big smiles, each taking one of his hands. "Hello, hello! I'm Ma Hongjun."

"I'm Oscar."

Tang Yu smiled. "Nice to meet you."

Ma Hongjun looked at Tang Yu. "Brother, can you tell me how you train? You're a Spirit Ancestor at twelve—damn, that's incredible! And your Soul Rings—my god, four purple and one black!"

"Uh, that? You just need to spend half an hour training every day," Tang Yu said modestly.

Ma Hongjun: "..."

Oscar: "..."

Tang San, Xiao Wu, and Tang Xiaomi chuckled. They could vouch that Tang Yu wasn't bragging—he really did only train for half an hour a day.

Dai Mubai immediately stepped forward. Yu Xiaogang continued, "Your task today is to defeat the other six one by one, excluding Tang Yu and Tang Xiaomi, without sustaining any serious injuries."

"Huh?" Dai Mubai was stunned.

Yu Xiaogang looked at Dai Mubai. "Any problem with that?"

"No," Dai Mubai replied at once.

Yu Xiaogang nodded, then said, "Tang San, step forward."

Tang San took a step forward and looked at Yu Xiaogang.

"You're not allowed to use your third Soul Skill or any of your Hidden Weapons later," Yu Xiaogang said.

Tang San nodded to show he had no objections.

Dai Mubai said, "That's not fair. Tang San's Soul Power is already lower than mine. If he can't use his third Soul Skill, what's the point?"

"If Tang San can use his third Soul Skill, you won't stand a chance. Believe me?" Yu Xiaogang said, looking at Dai Mubai.

Dai Mubai clenched his fists in anger. This was way too insulting.

Tang Yu spoke up. "Enough talk. Why not just have them fight?"

Yu Xiaogang rolled his eyes at Tang Yu. "If you keep fooling around, go back to the dorm and sleep."

"No way. My Xiaomi's still here. I'm staying with her," Tang Yu refused without hesitation.

Tang Xiaomi immediately smiled happily, while everyone else let out teasing "oohs."

Yu Xiaogang cleared his throat. "Then let's do as Xiaoyu suggested. You two, fight. Tang San, you can use your third Soul Skill."

Tang San nodded slightly, then faced Dai Mubai. The two soon began fighting. Tang San eventually used his third Soul Skill, Spider Web Restraint, to bind Dai Mubai completely. Dai Mubai was thoroughly convinced.

Tang Yu suddenly left. Before long, he returned with a towel and a cup of Iced Plum Juice. He went over to Tang Xiaomi, gave her the drink, and gently wiped the sweat from her brow.

Everyone glared at Tang Yu through gritted teeth, then shouted, "Grandmaster, we strongly demand that Tang Yu be kicked out!"
