Background

Ye Lin transmigrated alone into Holy Soul Village and immediately received a system that can alter plot text and events. Her first experiment changed porridge into stewed chicken; she soon used the system to alter Tang San's descent from a hill, causing him to roll down it instead. 1

At Notting Academy, Ye Lin befriended Xiao Wu and became her protector. She changed the course of the Seventh Dormitory conflict, preventing Xiao Wu from becoming its boss and earning a Spirit Ring Age Enhancement Card. 4 5

Yu Xiaogang repeatedly tried to recruit Ye Lin as a disciple, viewing her as a valuable test subject. She consistently refused him and later intentionally delayed obtaining her second Spirit Ring so that she could claim the Man Faced Demon Spider she had planned for. 5 21 39

Ye Lin is a black-haired swordswoman who typically wears a high ponytail, a black baseball jacket, white sneakers, and practical shorts or training clothes. After absorbing her second Spirit Ring, she grew to nearly 1.7 meters tall. 31
