Appearance

Dai Mubai is a handsome young man with long golden hair, distinctive double pupils, and an “Evil Eye” appearance that makes him conspicuous in public. He wears a gem-encrusted belt and a blue martial outfit when first encountered in Suotuo City. 12 312

Personality

Dai Mubai is proud, confrontational, and accustomed to getting his way. At the Rose Hotel, he expects staff to reserve rooms for him and dismisses Tang San’s claim that his group arrived first. 12

He is highly competitive in battle. Ye Lin matching his attacks despite possessing fewer Spirit Rings immediately provokes his desire for a quick victory; after she defeats him, however, he openly admits his loss. 15 16

His temper can become violent when his pride is wounded. After Tang San’s public kneeling incidents, Dai Mubai vents his anger on him in a one-sided beating, though he deliberately does not use his tiger claws and cause more serious harm. 23 He also reacts sharply to Ning Rongrong’s provocation and to the tension involving Zhu Zhuqing. 23

Dai Mubai meets Tang San, Ye Lin, and Xiao Wu at the Rose Hotel in Suotuo City. He demands the room they selected, expecting the hotel to keep one reserved for him, and accepts Tang San’s challenge rather than yielding. 12 13

Shrek Academy Fourth Trial

Dai Mubai guides the candidates through Shrek Academy’s admissions tests and is selected by Zhao Wuji to test Ye Lin. His White Tiger Barrier and White Tiger Intense Light Wave cannot stop her Blade Thrust. 15

He escalates the fight with White Tiger Vajra Transformation, but Ye Lin’s self-created Heaven Slashing Sword Technique shatters his shield, severs his claws, and stops at his throat. Dai Mubai concedes defeat. 16

Conflict with Tang San

After Tang San’s unusual kneeling during their sparring, Dai Mubai concedes rather than continue fighting him. 19 Later, angered by the public humiliation and Ning Rongrong’s provocation, Dai Mubai challenges Tang San again and beats him severely after cutting through his Blue Silver Entanglement. 23

Training and Soul Fighting Arena

During Flender’s training, Dai Mubai and Ma Hongjun are overwhelmed by Ye Lin; a downward sword strike forces Dai Mubai to one knee before he yields. 48

At the Soul Fighting Arena, he judges that he could defeat the Gray Bear Soul Master within five minutes, but estimates that Ye Lin could defeat him in less than one minute. 53
