Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Family

Yu Xiaogang is the son of Yu Yuanzhen and the older half-brother of Yu Xiaolong. His martial soul awakened as a pig with only 0.5 Innate Soul Power; despite the resources invested by his family, he reached only level 29. His low talent made him a source of disappointment within the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Family. 40 54 55

The later birth of Yu Xiaolong—who awakened the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon martial soul with Innate Full Soul Power—intensified Xiaogang's resentment. Though he outwardly welcomes Xiaolong at Shrek Academy, he internally views his younger brother as a reminder of everything he lost. 54

Nuoding Academy

During Nuoding Academy's enrollment period, Yu Xiaogang waited at the gate for promising students he could recruit as research subjects. He approached Qian Renyu after hearing of his Innate Full Soul Power, but Renyu ignored him and had Zhang Zhuan and Yang He kick him aside. 17

He later accepted Tang San as his disciple after examining Tang San's Martial Soul certificate. Xiaogang immediately inferred that Tang San possessed Twin Martial Souls and brought him into the academy. 22

When Tang San and Xiao Wu were injured by Renyu's retainers, Xiaogang demanded punishment and attempted to rely on Tang Hao's presumed protection. Zhang Zhuan and Yang He subsequently beat him alongside Tang San and Xiao Wu. 26 Afterward, he encouraged Tang San to grow stronger, take revenge on Renyu, and potentially destroy Renyu's family. 28

Shrek Academy

Flender later invited Yu Xiaogang to Shrek Academy to guide its students' cultivation. His reputation initially earns him respect from Tang San, Oscar, Ma Hongjun, and Yu Xiaolong, while Ning Rongrong, Dai Mubai, and Zhu Zhuqing react with disdain after learning his identity. 54

His first training plans fail to establish authority.
