Background / History

Gu Yuena originated as the Silver Dragon King, the Dragon God's spiritual avatar formed when the Dragon God fell. She inherited half of his power, fragments of his memories, and authority over the elements, but her injuries forced her into prolonged recovery beneath the Lake of Life. Her central ambition was to gain the Dragon God's complete inheritance and lead the Soul Beasts to revival. 47 55 180

For years, the Dragon God's remaining will refused to recognize her as an heir. When a newly born pure-blooded dragon gained recognition for the inheritance, Gu Yuena entered the human world to find it, hiding the failure from Di Tian and her other followers. She eventually lost the newborn's aura and returned to seclusion. 48 55

After the Dragon Realm escaped the God Realm, the Asura God summoned Gu Yuena for questioning. Fearful of punishment, she maintained an obedient façade despite resenting Qian Xunji's inheritance of Dragon God power. The God Realm's treatment further aggravated her injuries and resentment. 57 163
