Fall of the Saintess and system activation

As Pope, Qian Xunji dismisses Martial Soul Hall Saintess Bibi Dong after she declares her wish to be with Yu Xiaogang. He also expels Yu Xiaogang for attempting to use the Saintess's token to access the Hall's archives. Qian Daoliu opposes the decision, but Qian Xunji refuses to reverse it. 1

He subsequently falls into a nine-year coma, during which lightning repeatedly strikes him. Upon awakening, he activates the Hero Summoning System, whose draws consume prestige points rather than Gold Soul Coins. 1 2

Hero network and papal reforms

Qian Xunji uses the system to summon hero character cards, initially activating Arthur and Xiang Yu as infants. He recognizes that placing summoned heroes in prominent factions can generate prestige through their achievements. 2

During the Spirit Hall Empire's expansion, Qian Xunji favors efficiency over mercy. Valuable enemies may be poisoned, compelled into labor, converted into assets, or retained as research subjects; those he deems useless and hostile are killed. 162 164

He later entrusts the Spirit Hall Empire to Tian Yue and leaves the Douluo Continent to explore the Mount Shu Tang Sect World, where he collects martial-arts manuals and studies a power system without martial souls or Soul Power. 266

After ten thousand years, he returns to the prison where he sealed Gu Yuena. Finding the Silver Dragon King broken by isolation, he extracts her core and kills her without remorse. 272 273
