Background / History

Su Wen is the adopted child of Ye Yuan'er and the son of two deceased Martial Soul Hall Cardinals. A transmigrator, he awakened Innate Full Soul Power and the unprecedented Ghost Emperor of the Wedding Dress Martial Soul in Martial Soul City. Bibi Dong recognized that its evil attributes resembled her own and accepted him as her disciple. 1 5

After obtaining his first Spirit Ring, Su Wen discovered the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well with Ye Yuan'er. He used his knowledge of immortal herbs to help Ye Yuan'er reach Title Douluo, then entered Martial Soul Hall under Bibi Dong’s direct tutelage and took residence in the Saintess Hall. 3 4 10

He later reclaimed the Blue Silver Emperor and its hundred-thousand-year Spirit Bone, negotiated treatment for Dugu Bo’s venom in exchange for access to the latter’s herb garden, and completed Ice and Fire Body Tempering. 19 34

Su Wen is calm, calculating, and unusually confident around stronger opponents. He openly displays his talent when it serves his position, but conceals sensitive methods and information when disclosure could endanger him. 1 58 123

He is highly pragmatic in pursuit of strength, using immortal herbs, Whale Glue, spirit bones, contracts, and spirit-beast sacrifices to accelerate cultivation.
