The Sky Screen first forms from swirling golden light within a rift in the sky, expanding until it occupies every viewer's field of vision. Its announcements are delivered by a cold, mechanical voice directly into the minds of living beings. The Sky Screen identifies worlds with weak spiritual energy and incomplete laws, then opens an Ascension Channel to the Primordial World. It broadcasts the Primordial World's terrain, inhabitants, treasures, and selected explorers to all viewers within a connected plane. 1

Candidate Selection and Teleportation

The Sky Screen randomly selects beings as explorers and transports them to the Primordial World through descending golden light. The system does not limit its selection to humans or even ordinary lifeforms. 1 2 124

The Sky Screen evaluates connected planes and can adjust their opportunities accordingly. It labeled the Battle Through the Heavens World a “sub-par world” with low resource value and a backward civilization level. 122

Following its reappearance, it activated enhancement mode for low-dimensional civilizations. 187

History

The Sky Screen descended upon Douluo Continent after detecting its thin spiritual energy and broken laws. It announced a connection to the higher-dimensional Primordial World, immediately triggering continent-wide competition, fear, and ambition over its promised path to immortality and godhood. 1

Its first selection round demonstrated that the Primordial World was not a safe reward but a lethal environment: Li Dali was killed immediately after arrival, while Snake Matriarch Chao Tianxiang rapidly absorbed the dense spiritual energy and rejuvenated. 2 3 Subsequent rounds expanded the system from limited explorer selection to wide-net and substitute modes. 4 15

The Sky Screen later appeared over the Battle Through the Heavens World, opening an ascension channel there and selecting five explorers. It subsequently linked that world with Douluo through shared observation mode, allowing both civilizations to watch one another's explorers and the Primordial World. 117 118 124

During the Demon–Monster War, the intensity of the Primordial World's battle destabilized the Sky Screen until it shattered. It returned after a period of silence and introduced enhancement mode, tying each lower world's future advancement to candidate performance, fortune, and rankings. 184 185 187
