Qian Xunji brought Bibi Dong to Martial Soul Hall when she was seven and accepted her as his disciple. She possessed exceptional talent and Twin Martial Souls. Bibi Dong later remembered his arrival as a turning point that gave her a new life and the standing she enjoyed within the Hall 36 50.

She fell in love with Yu Xiaogang and was willing to leave Martial Soul Hall for him. Qian Xunji prevented her departure through sexual assault, confinement, and threats against Yu Xiaogang's life. These actions drove her lasting hatred of her teacher and her desire for revenge 1 36 38.
