Background

Bai Ye, a modern man, transmigrates into Qian Xunji's severely injured body shortly after the failed hunt for Ah Yin. The body he inherits belongs to Martial Soul Hall's Pope, Qian Daoliu's son, Bibi Dong's teacher and enemy, and the father of Qian Renxue. Bai Ye immediately recognizes that the original Qian Xunji's fate ended with Bibi Dong devouring him during her Rakshasa God trial. 1

The original Qian Xunji had kept the gifted Bibi Dong within Martial Soul Hall by coercing her separation from Yu Xiaogang and sexually abusing her, leaving her with lasting hatred. Bai Ye inherits both this hostile relationship and the danger posed by his weakened state. 1

Rather than summon Martial Soul Hall guards who might defect after seeing his injuries, Qian Xunji initially considers seeking Qian Daoliu's protection. Bibi Dong reaches him first with poisoned medicinal soup; he avoids consuming it by transferring the soup through the Myriad Worlds Chat Group's Red Packet function. 2 5 6

The chat group gives him access to knowledge of other worlds and the means to alter his future. After revealing members' identities and trading memory copies of their stories, he receives nine holy fruits, Divine Spring, and the Heaven Swallowing Devil Art from the Ruthless Empress.
