Background / History
Tang Hao lived in Holy Soul Village with Tang San, who prepared meals for him from an early age. Tang San concealed his foreign soul and Tang Sect techniques because he regarded Tang Hao as the father who had shown him paternal love. 6
He later revealed himself to Yu Xiaogang as Tang San's father and a former acquaintance. Before leaving Tang San in Yu Xiaogang's care, he disclosed that Su Yun possessed the Blue Silver Emperor and viewed Su Yun as the obstacle to Tang San's own martial soul evolution. Tang Hao had secretly influenced Su Yun into accepting Tang San's life-or-death duel. 50
In the past, Tang Hao fought Martial Soul Hall after the sacrifice of the Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Emperor. Records state that he killed a Title Douluo, severely wounded Pope Qian Xunji, and escaped carrying an infant; Qian Xunji later died from his wounds. 51
After Tang San's twin martial souls were exposed, Tang Hao removed him from Notting Academy to evade Martial Soul Hall. He led Tang San to the Blue Silver King's territory, where Tang San's Blue Silver Emperor bloodline awakened, though the resulting transformation left Tang San disfigured. 61 66
Tang Hao trained Tang San through harsh wilderness conditioning and combat rather than prioritizing soul power. Following the loss of the Hundred-Thousand-Year spirit bone he had intended for Tang San, he doubled the intensity of this training. 73 74
Seeking to restore the Clear Sky Sect and oppose Martial Soul Hall, Tang Hao arranged for Tang San's Tang Sect techniques to be transcribed for sect use. He returned to the hidden sect with the manuals and persuaded its leadership to accept both himself and Tang San back. 118 119 148 149

- Uses robes and a hood to conceal his identity while traveling. 50 124
- Has a face resembling Tang San's closely enough for Yu Xiaogang to recognize their relationship. 50
Personality
Tang Hao places strength, the Clear Sky Sect, and long-term revenge against Martial Soul Hall above personal attachments. He considers Tang San a crucial asset in restoring the sect's power and deliberately cultivates him into a weapon against Martial Soul Hall. 67 118
He is calculating and secretive. He withheld information from Tang San and Yu Xiaogang, manipulated the duel between Tang San and Su Yun from the shadows, and used Tang San's self-created techniques as leverage for regaining the sect's trust. 50 118 148
When questioned by the Second Elder, Tang Hao stated that he had no feelings for Ah Yin, describing their relationship as feigned affection intended to obtain her soul ring and produce a unique heir for the Clear Sky Sect. 149
