The Dragon Clan Committee was an organization formed through deliberations among the True Dragons—not Sub-Dragons—of Dragon Valley Forest, the survivors of the Dragon Race on another continent, and the dragons who had already fled to Zheer Continent.
Its members were all genuine dragons with cultivation of at least a hundred thousand years. They were not dragons who had reached a false hundred-thousand-year cultivation through a Mental Contract. The committee held absolute authority over the Dragon Race. It honored Rus Wang as Dragon King and recognized the Light Dragon King as the common leader of all dragon clans and the head of the Dragon Race.
However, after the sudden leak of information from the Elves, the Light Dragon King in Dragon Valley began making arrangements for the Dragon Clan Committee. Then, when Rus Wang brought Dragon Valley World's treasure—the young dragon eggs—to the committee's base in Nanshan Rainforest, everything happened so suddenly that no one had been prepared.
Rus Wang was designated the Light Dragon King's successor and appointed acting head of the Dragon Race. It was also clearly stated that should the Silver Dragon King betray the Dragon Race, Rus Wang would become its new leader. (Note: Di Tian had long since been removed from the candidates by the Light Dragon King. The Dragon Clan Committee also disapproved of him because he had done nothing during the infighting among the Divine Realm's chosen heirs, nor when it came to the Auspicious Beast.)
Yet the loss of one of the Nine Great Dragon Kings, who had survived the Dragon God's fall and now left to die for the sake of the dragons on Zheer Continent, was still a heavy blow to the Dragon Clan Committee. Everyone seemed deeply dejected.
