Background / History

Gu Yue possesses the Dragon God’s inherited authority over the elements. As the Silver Dragon King and Master of Soul Beasts, she views the revival of the Soul Beast clan and the restoration of its balance with humanity as her long-term mission. Her plan involves controlling the Spirit Pagoda and placing spiritual seeds within human soul masters’ spiritual worlds. 11 106

She arrived in Aolai City after a spatial-rift collapse caused her to lose her memory. In retrospect, she found the circumstances suspicious: Aolai City’s residents appeared not to notice her until she encountered Tang Wulin, whose Golden Dragon King bloodline shares her origin in the Dragon God. 64 105

Gu Yue initially approached Tang Wulin partly because of a wager with Na'er, but his rapid growth and abnormal control of the Golden Dragon King bloodline made her suspect hidden intervention. She later resolved to investigate the forces behind him and potentially devour his bloodline to recreate the Dragon God’s power. 57 64 105

When Su Mo demonstrated elemental abilities resembling her own, Gu Yue briefly intended to eliminate him as a potential human god who could obstruct her plans. She relented after learning that his attribute attachments were limited and did not grant him her full elemental authority. 11
