Xie Xie was raised in a small family in Donghai City before becoming a member of Eastsea Academy’s Class Zero. During an early encounter with Su Mo’s Illusion Technique, he was shown his mother and desperately begged Su Mo to let him see her again, revealing a strong attachment to his family. 6 274

He fought alongside Tang Wulin and the others in the Spirit Ascension Platform, helping defeat a century-old Human-Faced Demon Spider. Initially proud of his team’s result, Xie Xie was humiliated after learning that Su Mo had defeated a Dark-Gold Terrorclaw Bear alone and without injury; he recognized that he had underestimated Su Mo. 22 23

Xie Xie joined the Tang Sect alongside Tang Wulin and was later recruited by Liang Xiaoyu, who became his close-door master. Under Liang Xiaoyu’s training, he was tasked with investigating Wu Zhangkong’s background, forcing him to gather information across Shrek City. 35 111 113 274
