Background
At ten years old, Fang Yun recovered memories of a past life and obtained the novel Coiling Dragon. He used its contents to manifest Clementin's talent and experience, becoming a Saint-level expert while concealing his actual strength from Blue Star's inhabitants. His outward identity remained that of a minor warrior prodigy, while he treated his original body as more important than his Sovereign clone. 8
After attaining Light Sovereign status, Fang Yun sought to establish a connection between Blue Star and the Coiling Dragon world. He regarded passage to the Yulan Continent as an opportunity for others, but did not intend to knowingly send people to their deaths; because he could not form a projection avatar there, he instead relied on a magic array to send people across. 1 3 8
Upon reaching the Yulan Continent, he adopted the name “Fang Yun of the South Sea.” After overwhelming the Purple-Eyed Golden-Haired Ape in a contest of raw strength, he deliberately began building a reputation as an independent Saint-level powerhouse. 16
Appearance
Fang Yun is a young-looking man, commonly perceived as no older than twenty during his early travels on the Yulan Continent. He has appeared in a light-cyan robe and can alter the presentation of his different divine clones. 14 55
- His Darkness Divine Clone has long black hair, black eyes, and a black robe trimmed in gold. 141
- His Life Divine Clone can be externally manifested while his other bodies remain concealed. 108
- He has concealed his true strength and clone arrangement repeatedly to avoid exposing his manifestation ability. 8 116
Personality
Fang Yun is notably composed around power and rare treasures. He remained calm while acquiring a Sovereign Godspark and generally avoids intoxication because he finds no value in losing control of himself. 1 14
He values firsthand combat experience despite possessing Clementin's inherited experience. His first direct clash with the Purple-Eyed Golden-Haired Ape excited him precisely because it was a genuine battle of his own. 16
Fang Yun can be protective and accommodating toward people he considers worth aiding, including the Bolei brothers, Linley, and several followers. However, he is also willing to kill divine-level threats without hesitation and later imposed an absolute prohibition on fighting and killing on Blue Star. 20 48 54 136 139
Abilities & Skills
Manifestation and Divine Clones
Fang Yun possesses a unique manifestation ability connected to the Coiling Dragon book in his mind. He uses it to obtain bloodlines, talents, and additional bodies while keeping its nature hidden from most others. 8 116
- Manifested Clementin's talent and experience, enabling his initial leap to the Saint level. 8
- Manifested a God-Eater Rat clone to absorb Divine Sparks and strengthen his original body. 108
- His Life Divine Clone's advancement unexpectedly resulted in two original bodies with different bloodlines. 107
- Can switch between divine clones when a weaker body is unsuitable for combat. 113
- Keeps especially sensitive manifestations contained within his body to prevent discovery. 116
Wind Laws
Fang Yun's Wind Divine Clone is his principal combat body and the clone through which he attained Paragon High-God status. His Wind Laws combine destructive material attacks, clone techniques, movement, and spatial restriction. 80 100
- Fused Wind Elements and Wind Space to become a Wind-style deity. 36
- Developed techniques to counter movement restriction and bind opponents in turn. 40
- Can exchange positions rapidly with his clones, a move developed while fighting Babus. 90
- Copied and integrated Bayer's restrictive technique during their duel, allowing him to overcome Bayer's tactical advantage. 106
- His early weakness as a Paragon was a relative lack of restrictive techniques compared with his overwhelming material offense. 101
Thousand-Fold Blade
Thousand-Fold Blade is Fang Yun's signature ultimate move. It combines immense numbers of clones into a single attack, prioritizing extreme material destruction. 80 87
- A full-power use can merge nearly ten thousand clones into one strike. 87 101
- His ordinary uses commonly employ around two thousand clones, raising his material attack to above the ordinary attacks of a typical Grand Perfection. 101
- The resulting wind blades can destroy a restrictive fire cage and leave surrounding space riddled with fissures. 101
- Fang Yun later adapted the technique for the Laws of Light, though each Light clone supplied less amplification than a Wind clone. 134
- The technique's extraordinary amplification drew the attention of Sovereigns, particularly Oufu. 135 142
Light Sovereign Power
Fang Yun's Radiant Sovereign clone grants him Light Sovereign Power, enhanced soul recovery, and additional Willpower for his other bodies. 1 36 135
- Fully comprehended the six Laws of Light before absorbing Augusta's Light Sovereign Godspark. 1
- Can precisely control Sovereign Power of Light without allowing it to leak. 100
- Developed a Light-based soul-defense form of Thousand-Fold Blade to resist Diya's innate divine ability. 134
- Used the Rules of Light drawn from the Coiling Dragon book to help construct the Sovereign Plane. 134
God-Eater Rat Ability
Fang Yun's God-Eater Rat clone possesses a powerful physical body and the God-Eater Rat's innate divine ability. 108 141
- Absorbs Divine Sparks to refine their essence and reinforce Fang Yun's main body. 108 125
- Its innate divine ability is an area-of-effect soul attack that kills targets within range unless they are Paragon High-Gods or possess Soul Defense Sovereign Artifacts. 141
- Its body is comparable to a Sovereign Artifact, making it exceptionally dangerous in close combat. 141
Netherworld Flower
Fang Yun manifested the Sovereign of Death's true-form clone, the Netherworld Flower, to improve his soul talent. 116
- Devour — Directly devours souls and divine bodies within range, converting them into nourishment. 116
- Growth — An innate secret technique that continually raises physical strength as the flower grows. 116
- Fang Yun kept the clone hidden inside his body to avoid revealing his manifestation ability. 116
Life Law
Fang Yun's Life Divine Clone developed through observation of living things and later gained a strong affinity with Moon Power. 111 114 117
- His comprehension began by witnessing birth and studying the reproduction of life on Blue Star. 111
- He achieved a breakthrough after realizing that both following and resisting growth form part of Life Law. 114
- Absorbed a substantial amount of Moon Power from the Moon Elf Clan, surprising the Sovereign of Spirit Mist. 117
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Ring of Feilan — An interspatial ring and symbol of Wester Academy; Fang Yun refused Edita's initial attempt to exchange for it. 16

Story Role / Major Arcs
Rise on the Yulan Continent
Fang Yun established the name “Fang Yun of the South Sea” by crushing the Purple-Eyed Golden-Haired Ape in raw strength. He then aided the Bolei Clan, demanded the Tiger-striped Secret Manual from the Dark Church, and defeated four Saint-level opponents alone. 16 20 23
The battle against the Dark Church made him the Yulan Continent's foremost Saint-level legend. The site of that clash became known as Six Saint Mountain because six Saint-level figures had appeared there. 23 24
Godhood and the Magical Beast Mountain Range
After becoming a Wind-style Lowgod, Fang Yun fought Dylin over control of the Magical Beast Mountain Range. He countered Dylin's innate suction ability, trapped him with the Sunset Longbow, and won the duel under Beirut's mediation. 36 39 40
Purge of the Yulan Continent and Departure
As Mid-level God-level experts from the Plane Prison destabilized the Yulan Continent, Fang Yun killed multiple divine-level invaders, including Pusen and Alsop. His campaign frightened the remaining powers and contributed to his decision to leave for the Divine Planes. 52 54
Windshadow Castle and Divine Plane Expansion
In the Divine Planes, Fang Yun demonstrated strength beyond his stated realm by destroying the Kula Tribe's main peak with a single arrow. He established Windshadow Castle in the Mojin Mountain Range, mined Mojin Stone, and began ambitious plans to develop Mars and the wider Blue Star system. 57 71
Paragon High-God
Fang Yun reached Wind-style Grand Perfection in less than seven hundred years, stunning Qinghuo, Beirut, and other experts. He used his battle with Qinghuo to refine his techniques, then openly challenged Bayer to test himself against another Wind-type Paragon. 100 102
At Wind God Mountain, Fang Yun defeated Bayer by combining his superior material attacks with a newly grasped version of Bayer's own restrictive technique. The victory established “Wind God” as one of his most widely used titles. 106 107 120
Blue Star Sovereign
Fang Yun revealed himself as the Radiant Sovereign and imposed order over Blue Star before the birth of seven Sovereign Sparks. He prohibited fighting for the Sparks within the Solar System and immediately killed those who defied the order. 112 136 139
He later became both a Wind Sovereign and a Darkness Sovereign, dramatically increasing the Willpower available to his clones. His rise and ability to construct new Divine Planes made him a central power among the Sovereigns. 135 141 142
