As the Guiyuan Sect arrived.
The disciples and grandmasters of the Three Great Sects gathered together. Zhong Yuan, Wan Jianming, and Feng Tianxing, the three grandmasters, huddled together and spoke in low voices for a few moments before walking toward the center of the grounds.

He was Gongsun Wuji, the envoy sent by the Martial Alliance, a Yang Spirit Grandmaster and the referee of this struggle.
An elderly man stood on each side of him. They were grandmasters sent by the Subduing Dragon Temple, likewise Yang Spirit Grandmasters.
Seeing that both sides had arrived, Gongsun Wuji cleared his throat and announced loudly, "The rules for this secret realm contest are as follows.
"First, neither side's grandmasters may enter the battlefield. Violators will be killed without mercy.
"Second, the battlefield is divided into two areas: an area for disciples under thirty and an area for grandmasters. Only disciples under thirty may enter the disciple area. All grandmasters may enter the grandmaster area regardless of age, but grandmasters may not enter.
"Third, this contest will last one month. One hundred token emblems have been buried within the battlefield, fifty in the disciple area and fifty in the grandmaster area. No one may leave midway through, but additional people may be sent in.
"Fourth, killing is not prohibited within the battlefield. Life and death are left to fate.
"Fifth, when the month is over, those holding tokens may enter the secret realm. The opportunities within the secret realm will depend on each person's ability. No one may regret it afterward, or they will face sanctions from the Martial
