Lord Torifu smiled faintly. "Actually, our village only has one of those as well, and it was something left behind by my ancestors. It wasn't invented."
Hearing this made Orochimaru feel much more at ease. "I see. Then I don't need to keep obsessing over it."
"But I must say, everything in Konoha stands at the forefront of the world. For Lord Torifu to develop Konoha to this point truly couldn't have been easy."
Torifu shook his head, not taking all the credit for himself.
"I set down the burden of being Hokage two years ago. The Spring Festival being so successful this year is also because Minato has been keeping a strict hand on things. I only played a very small part."
Orochimaru naturally thought Torifu was being modest, but he did not argue with him.
"Oh, right. Lord Torifu, Lady Uchiha Chirori, you two must be on your way to some event. I won't waste any more of your time. Please go ahead."
Torifu waved a hand. "Then goodbye, Orochimaru. Before you leave, come sit for a while at the Yunzhong Clan Grounds. It's been some time since you last came, hasn't it?"
Orochimaru nodded when he heard that. "Of course, Lord Torifu. I will."
With that, Torifu and Uchiha Chirori left.
Orochimaru continued strolling through the streets. This sort of life was very interesting to him.
It was a feeling he had rarely experienced.
"I wonder where that fellow Jiraiya went. Didn't he say he wanted to come out for a stroll? He probably ran off to some hot spring again."
Orochimaru felt it was better not to make a fuss. Otherwise, if Tsunade found out, Jiraiya might not get out alive.
After Torifu and Uchiha Chirori left Orochimaru, it did not take them long to arrive
