Godfather and Godmother?
A smile appeared on Kushina's face. "I knew Big Brother wouldn't play favorites. I'll thank Uncle on Naruto's behalf."
Minato Namikaze would be staying in this world for a while longer, so he should be able to witness Naruto's birth.
Minato was incredibly excited, too. He'd get to witness the birth of two Narutos with his own eyes. It was truly amazing.
It was something he'd never even dared to imagine.
"It really feels like a dream."
Torifu teased him, "You could have your children call each other godfather and godmother. That way, they'd have two sets of parents. I can't even imagine how happy they'd be."
Minato's eyes widened. "Right! How did I not think of that? I'm completely on board. What about you, Kushina?"
Kushina was all for it, too. "I agree. That way, both children will have twice as much fun growing up."
Torifu hadn't expected both sets of parents to agree right away to something he'd said offhand.
"If that's what you decide, you'll need to think about how they'll live. The differences between the two worlds are pretty big. You don't want one child to feel envious or inferior, so you'll need to work things out."
Torifu had only brought up the matter. He was sure the two families could figure out the rest themselves.
Minato gave the matter some serious thought. "You're right, Big Brother Torifu. It's something we need to take seriously."
Kushina understood what Torifu meant, too. "This is something both our families will have to work on together. If the children grow up playing together, their bond will only grow stronger."
"It's inevitable that the two villages will be connected someday. We can't wait until then for the children to meet, can we?"
Kushina and Minato started discussing
