Background / History

Adam is the eldest son of the Ancient Sun God and a King of Angels. He intends to resurrect the Ancient Sun God within himself, making knowledge of him dangerous enough that Klein seeks Evernight’s protection after learning it 129.

He first answers Cyril’s call when Cyril is overwhelmed by the High-Dimensional Overseer’s influence. Adam suppresses the anomalies and explains that Cyril’s connection to the Outer Deity can persist through the Original Creator’s barrier if both sides consent 1. He then advises Cyril to acquire enough power to resist being consumed when the barrier fails 2.

After guiding Cyril toward the Door pathway, Adam recruits him into the Twilight Hermit Order, grants him a fate-mitigating Tarot deck, and asks him to join the Tarot Club when appropriate 10. He repeatedly assigns Cyril missions tied to the Mirror World, Medici’s evil spirit, the Western Continent, and the City of Cataclysm 30 111 240 258.

Adam later reveals that his own thoughts and actions can be influenced by the Original Creator’s residual will. He describes high-sequence Beyonders as continually both resisting and merging with the madness in their characteristics 364.
