Diana rode her Flying Broom up to Lan Qingyou, who was hovering in midair.
"Wh-what is it?"
Startled, Lan Qingyou stared at her.
"Patriarch, I know you're worried about us, but this time, you have to let us go first."
Diana looked utterly serious.
The moment Lan Qingyou announced they were heading somewhere a fight might break out,
Diana had known what she would say next.
So when Lan Qingyou said she would enter first,
Diana, who already had her Flying Broom ready, flew up to stop her.
"Huh? Is that really necessary?"
They were going to Maple Leaf Territory, her domain from over a thousand years ago.
She had only spent about a year there,
but Lan Qingyou still knew the place well.
A thousand years had passed, though, and she had no idea what it was like now.
Still, there was no way a monster on the level of the Kesuya's Clone that had manipulated Jormungandr's body could be there.
There was no need to be so cautious.
"It is!"
Diana looked Lan Qingyou straight in the eye.
"Uh... all right, you can go in first."
Lan Qingyou scratched her head.
It wasn't a big deal. Even if enemies were waiting on the other side, they couldn't be too strong.
At the very least, they would be within the abilities of the people she had picked.
