Background / History

Na'er was found as an amnesiac child in Donghai City by Yun Chen and Xu Xiaoyan. The Xu family took her in after no records of her could be found, giving her a home and treating her as family. She was initially timid around Yun Chen, but became part of the household over the following years. 4 5

She was originally Gu Yuena, the Silver Dragon King, whose human emotions and thirty percent of her origin were separated into Na'er after Gu Yuena recovered her memories. Na'er inherited the emotions and memories formed during her time with the Xu family, while Gu Yue retained seventy percent of the Silver Dragon King’s origin and pursued the Spirit Beast revival plan. Na'er was subsequently sent to Shrek Academy. 8 128 201

At Shrek, Yun Ming accepted her as a direct disciple, but Na'er rejected the academy’s “Shrek-supremacy” ideology and resented being shaped into a tool for its glory. She eventually left the academy and returned to the Xu family, choosing to remain close to Yun Chen and Xu Xiaoyan. 126 144

When Gu Yue sought the Golden Dragon King’s Dragon Core, Na'er claimed the core for herself. She refused Gu Yue’s demand to surrender it, declared that she would become an independent existence, and returned her own thirty percent Silver Dragon King origin to Gu Yue. 130

Following seclusion in the Star Dou Great Forest, Na'er fully mastered the Golden Dragon King’s power. This transformed her hair from silver to gold, changed her White Silver Dragon Spear into the Golden Dragon Spear, and made her markedly more forceful. 135 176
