Batman might not have known what Doraemon was.
But he knew one thing.
The Kent Family descendant in front of him definitely wasn't holding back anything good. Looking at Ian's scornful expression, Batman only felt as if he had unlocked the achievement of high blood pressure many years ahead of schedule.
He had nearly unlocked cerebral hemorrhage along with it, a double achievement.
Batman already felt awful.
But Ian, holding the [Joker Card], was utterly unrestrained, letting himself go completely.
"Tch, trash." Ian immediately switched into a Joker-like look of contempt and curled his lip. "I know a guy who could cobble together a Time Machine out of junk he picked from a trash can! That pile of bat toys of yours looks scary enough, but in the end you can't even build a half-decent Time Machine?"
Naturally, he was talking about Grandpa Rick from Rick and Morty. As a God of technology, Rick had his own science, something ordinary people couldn't understand or replicate.
"Then go find that person," Batman shot back without the slightest politeness, though a trace of doubt flashed through his mind because of the mysterious figure Ian had mentioned, someone who "could build a Time Machine out of garbage."
What monster had crawled out of what corner this time? Batman had to weigh every word Ian said, because although he didn't know much about this boy, their few encounters had already let him see many things clearly. He knew very well that much of what Ian said was not without basis.
Unlike those who never had a truthful word in their mouths, this guy also often had no truthful words in his mouth, but many times the absurd things that came out of it were actually true. How should he put it? It was trickier
