Flim tried to tempt Thor with the position of Court Master, but Thor wasn't interested.
Not to mention the impossibly difficult conditions he'd have to meet—even if Flim offered to make him Court Master right now, Thor still wouldn't accept.
The Judgment Court was nothing like Rhine City in the Land of No Owner. Rhine City didn't have such a tangled web of factions. And even if it did, they'd need more than a decade to develop.
By then, Thor might not even be in the Land of No Owner anymore.
After leaving Thor with that enticing promise, Flim's voice fell silent. Byron let out a long breath. "His figure's gone. He must have left."
When Thor heard that Byron also thought Flim had left, he abruptly turned and headed outside.
Byron didn't understand, but he didn't ask. He simply followed behind Thor in silence.
Thor went straight to the castle entrance. He pulled the door inward and saw that the tall and short Wizards were still standing guard outside.
"Are you going to keep standing here?" Thor asked them directly.
The Dwarf Wizard turned around with an inscrutable smile. "Yes. If you need anything, just let us know."
Thor had been waiting for the Dwarf Wizard to say that. "Good. I just accepted a commission from Court Master Flim to conduct some experiments. Get these materials together and bring them inside."
Without the slightest hesitation, Thor took a sheet of parchment from his Storage Device and ordered the Dwarf Wizard as if he were a subordinate.
The Dwarf Wizard's expression shifted, but he still took the parchment and glanced over its contents.
There was nothing particularly rare among the materials.
His expression eased somewhat, and he nodded as he put away the parchment. "You'll have the materials you need
