After leaving the tower where Keri was staying, Thor immediately said to Xiao Zao, "Did you notice..."
Thor had wanted to ask Xiao Zao whether she had noticed, but before he could finish, Wizard Ole emerged from the main building in the middle of the castle.
Ole recognized Thor, but made no move to greet him. Instead, he turned and entered the tower on the other side.
Thor stared at Ole's back and said to Xiao Zao, "Xiao Zao, did you see that?"
Xiao Zao nodded, just as solemnly.
"I remember Wizard Ole didn't have a head. There used to be some kind of plant above his neck, right?"
Xiao Zao continued nodding solemnly.
"I remember he didn't used to have a red worm for a head, right?"
Xiao Zao solemnly shook her head.
"Come on, let's go back and talk to Keri some more." Thor turned around and headed back into the tower he had just left.
Wizard Ole's head had turned into a giant red worm. The worm was thicker than his neck, and after squeezing out of the opening at the top of his neck, it had swollen up, looking even more like a human head.
Thor hurried up the tower and knocked on Keri's door.
But this time, several seconds passed with no response and no one opened the door.
