Thor told Mentor Gorsa to stay in the Chaos Domain and rest properly. Only after he had fully recovered would Thor let him return to the Wizard World, where the concentrations of Magic Power and Corruption were higher.
Thor had originally thought that persuading Gorsa to stay put for several months, or even a year, would be a difficult task. But unexpectedly, Gorsa agreed without hesitation.
After leaving the Chaos Domain, Thor planned to look for Byron first.
It had been a year since Byron last sent a message to the Land of No Owner.
Although they had been communicating less often, for Wizards who regularly spent months at a time conducting experiments, this still counted as frequent contact.
The last time Byron wrote, he said he was visiting Keri and taking the opportunity to learn about the Star Gate Council's recent situation. He would tell Thor if he made any new discoveries.
But Byron had not sent another message since then. Thor didn't know whether he had simply found nothing new or whether something had delayed him.
With the matter of his mentor settled for the time being, Thor decided to go to the northwest corner of Iskape and ask Keri about Byron.
Keri's superior, Ole, was a Wizard who specialized in wood magic. He had been deeply prejudiced against Thor the last time they met. But Thor no longer needed to pay attention to that clown.
After two days on the road, Thor arrived at the Bay City where Keri lived. Before he could even get close, he saw someone coming to meet him.
Thor had deliberately left his Magic Power unrepressed, so the Wizards on guard naturally noticed him.
"I'm here to see Wizard Keri. Is she still here?"
