After Xu Yuan and Hu Liena survived an assassination attempt by Evil Spirit Masters inside Spirit City, Bibi Dong convened a high-level meeting. She condemned the security failure, punished the responsible departments, and used the investigation to target personnel connected to Great Elder Qian Daoliu’s faction. 19 20

She rewarded the two victims by making them her disciples. The decision elevated Xu Yuan and Hu Liena from academy students to politically significant members of Spirit Hall. 20 21

When Xu Yuan killed Xue Celou in Tianxing City, Bibi Dong upheld the killing as lawful because Xue Celou had violated Spirit Hall law within Spirit Hall territory. She then used the incident to intensify pressure on the Heaven Dou Empire. 40 41 43

Disciples and Succession
