Shisui appeared beside the right hand Kuma had just used to slap Usopp and Chopper. Seastone Handcuffs were already locked around its wrist.

Bartholomew Kuma's Devil Fruit power had weakened almost instantly. He couldn't use it anywhere near as effectively as he could at full strength.

They gave Kuma no time to react.

"Water Release: Water Prison Technique!"

Itachi appeared on Kuma's shoulder.

At the same time, he unrolled a scroll and released the seawater stored inside, using the Water Prison Technique to cover Kuma's head in water.

Normally, there was enough water to cover an ordinary person's entire body, but for Kuma, it only reached up to his shoulders.

Meanwhile, Uchiha Tamaharu and Shisui used steel wire to pull Kuma's arms apart and tie them to a nearby tree, keeping his paws from touching his body and preventing any chance of a counterattack.

"Their fighting style really is too simple. They just rely on brute force."

Uchiha Tamaharu still preferred not to rely on the Mangekyo's power unless absolutely necessary, whether it was his own or Shisui's and Itachi's.

"Looks like genjutsu really isn't very effective against people who are strong."

Shisui analyzed the situation.

Shisui was the best at genjutsu, with Itachi second. Uchiha Tamaharu had studied it the least.

"In the Shinobi World, genjutsu is really only effective against ninja below the Elite Jonin level. Kage-level fighters are rarely affected much by it."

"Of course, Shisui, you're different. You might be able to surpass that level, but it's very difficult for ordinary Uchiha to do the same. You still need to improve your overall abilities. Genjutsu alone won't cut it."

Uchiha Tamaharu offered Shisui a little advice.

He wanted to keep him from getting fixated on it and stubbornly pursuing genjutsu to the exclusion of everything else.

Shisui nodded and said no more.

But just then, Kuma began to move.

Before he could fire, Uchiha Tamaharu thrust a short blade into Kuma's mouth, piercing straight through the back of his head.

"I forgot he was a cyborg. Even if he can't use his Devil Fruit or his body, he can still fire lasers."

After delivering the finishing blow, Uchiha Tamaharu spoke calmly.

They waited a little longer. Kuma didn't die, but he had lost all ability to fight back.

"You two keep an eye on him. I'll take care of the rest."

"Leave five here to help Shisui and the others. Everyone else, come with me."

Uchiha Tamaharu gave his orders.

Five people appeared nearby to assist Shisui and the others.

Uchiha Tamaharu headed straight into the forest, intending to capture Straw Hat Luffy.

Enemies with obvious weaknesses who were easy to expose were much easier to deal with.

With someone like Mihawk, on the other hand, the only way to handle him was through sheer strength.

"Damn it, Fire Bird Star!"

Usopp was panicking.

He hadn't expected to become one of the stronger fighters in the group and end up covering their retreat.

He launched an attack from his large slingshot, setting the forest ablaze in an attempt to stop CP9 from pursuing them.

Kaku used Soru to dodge the attack and reach Usopp. He raised his hand, ready to pierce the heart of this man who shared his same attribute.

"Clang!"

But his finger struck the blade of Wado Ichimonji, ringing out sharply.

"Ghk!"

At the same time, Zoro's wound began bleeding from the force of the blow.

"Go!"

Zoro said in a low voice.

"Zoro!"

Usopp hesitated. His instincts told him to run.

But that would be so dishonorable!

"You're moving a little too slowly."

But before Kaku could attack again, Uchiha Tamaharu emerged from the forest.

Kaku was startled.

"What about Kuma—"

He couldn't help asking.

"He's been dealt with, of course."

As Uchiha Tamaharu spoke, he appeared between Zoro and Usopp.

Zoro's pupils contracted. With his left hand free, he prepared to draw his sword and slash at the man who'd dared to appear behind him.

"Chidori Current!"

But Uchiha Tamaharu's entire body crackled with electricity, sending arcs in every direction like an electric net.

Usopp and Zoro had no time to dodge. The current struck them both.

Electricity coursed over their bodies. Usopp fainted on the spot, while Zoro's body went limp and he fell to the ground, barely conscious.

"I'll leave the weapon you've entrusted your convictions to."

"I'll take the other two as spoils of war."

As he spoke, Uchiha Tamaharu took Black Blade Shusui and Sandai Kitetsu from Zoro's waist.

Zoro glared furiously, but there was nothing he could do.

Being NTR'd right in front of him as a swordsman was too much. Zoro passed out from sheer anger.

"Don't kill them. Take these two back to the castle."

Uchiha Tamaharu glanced at Kaku and gave the order.

Kaku didn't dare argue. He silently picked the two of them up and headed back.

"Clan Leader, the target is about a thousand meters to the southwest."

A member of the Uchiha Clan appeared and reported the information to Uchiha Tamaharu.

Holding the two swords, Uchiha Tamaharu headed in the direction the clan member had indicated.

"You freak! I'm going to beat you to death this time!"

Fukuro swung his fists again and again at Franky.

Nearby, Sanji and Nico Robin were trying to deal with Kalifa, Jabra, and the others.

"Damn it!"

"I have to protect everyone!"

Chopper held up his fifty-Beli bounty poster, ready to take on an even bigger fight.

"Clatter!"

The Seastone Handcuffs fell to the ground.

Kumadori had broken the Seastone Handcuffs on Rob Lucci's wrists. Of the members, he and Fukuro were the only ones without Devil Fruit abilities.

"These little fry are so noisy!"

Rob Lucci's eyes were cold.
