Losing money was more painful for him than making money was for the other guy.

Kageya Shinjitsu smiled.

It was only natural. They were all students, after all. If you did a good job, people would naturally follow you.

But if you did a poor job, you'd have to take the blame, whether or not it was your fault.

That was what being a leader meant.

Chapter 49: Six Million Points, Joining the Student Council

"Five million points. That's our limit. If you can accept that, then that's the amount."

"If not, do whatever you want."

Nagumo Miyabi said it all in one breath.

"Five million points, huh?"

Kageya Shinjitsu considered it.

"Underclassman, I know you're collecting points to get into Class A."

Horikita Manabu brought it up.

"I'll call her over."

Kageya Shinjitsu remembered his own tool was still here.

She'd already been dragged off to school, and now she had to be summoned here, too. At least everything was settled now.

When Karuizawa Kei heard the news, her eyes widened.

She was at a loss for words in the hospital room.

"That's right. Once the agreement is signed, I'll transfer the points to your ID numbers tomorrow."

Nagumo Miyabi spoke from beside them.

There was no need to fit in with his class.

If anything, they should be the ones fitting in with him. And the Student Council seemed to have quite a bit of power.

He'd also get access to more things. He might as well join.

Horikita Manabu had originally wanted to say more, but when he saw Karuizawa Kei, he held back.
