Steppenwolf Flees

Ba Di glanced at the crimson crystal that sealed the Raven, but did not immediately break the seal. Instead, he put the crimson crystal away, looked up, and gazed into the void where the Parademon army was gathered.

In the multiverse, Steppenwolf and Darkseid have countless incarnations. Ba Di had seen them a few times, and since he had also possessed an incarnation of Zeus, he knew their characteristics and appearances, thus recognizing Steppenwolf as the one from Apokolips.

The taboo of the Dark Lord is the issue of Darkseid's Ω Symbol. Darkseid's Ω Symbol is naturally generated from his own Omega Beam, symbolizing and possessing unique power. It is a symbol belonging to Darkseid and cannot be used by others.

That symbol represents, and the fear that others associate with, the symbol that strengthens Darkseid's power. If someone else is associated with this symbol besides Darkseid, it will weaken Omega's power, which Darkseid will not allow.

Darkseid's multiverse counterparts have also encountered Ba Di's God-King Legion. The symbolic use of the Ω Symbol has touched upon Darkseid's fundamental power, angering this dark lord.

The moment the razor-sharp, Earth Shattering Axe came into contact with the Dark Ray, it was as if ink had been splashed onto it. This divine weapon, the axe, rapidly reversed its particles from the blade, turning into black chocolate that spread outwards.

Steppenwolf was startled. As he watched his axe blade strike the Dark Ray, his Earth Shattering Axe lost all sensation and turned into a lifeless object, transforming into a richly fragrant chocolate.
