Background / History

God's Domain was created by God during the era of nothingness. Its history is divided into at least three eras: the First Era ended in destruction, the realm was reborn for the Second Era, and the present setting is identified as the Third Era 430 431.

During the First Era, wars involving divine waves and Ancient Gods created forbidden zones across the realm. Many former God Kings, Demon Kings, and overlords eventually fell onto the Source Wall through failed ascensions, taboos, or schemes by other gods 431.

The multiverse cannot safely contain an Only God: an Only God's concentrated information can create black holes and collapse a universe. God's Domain is the realm capable of sustaining Only Gods and other ultimate entities 343.

Structure

God's Domain consists of eight major regions enclosed by Limbo, forming nine major parts in total 416.

Nature and Laws

Scale

• Each region is greater than a conventional universe; Apokolips and New Genesis contain multiple inner-universe spaces 343.
• A single planet within God's Domain represents a universe, while every particle or grain of sand within such a planet is itself a universe 412 416.
• Mass, gravity, space, time, and dimensions operate differently from the multiverse 412 415.
• Divine bodies appear smaller within God's Domain because divine waves stabilize and suppress Only Gods without weakening them 415.

Divine Waves

Divine waves, rather than ordinary matter, time, space, particles, or gravity, underpin God's Domain and give rise to its phenomena 415. They permeate every region and allow Only Gods to exist stably, functioning as their equivalent of oxygen 423.

• Large quantities of divine waves can accelerate an Only God's growth, though ancient Only Gods warn that dependence on them leads to true death 423.
• God Wave was initially treated as Heaven's source of authority, but it is ultimately revealed to be God's breath 464.
• God's breath can create and extinguish universes, civilizations, and living beings without end 464.
• Gods who absorbed God Wave became vulnerable to its poison and were compelled toward God when He awakened 448 464.

Source Wall and the Outer Boundary

The Source Wall once surrounded God's Domain, reduced beings to their original source, and imprisoned innumerable Only Gods as its “batteries” 416 456.

• Beyond Limbo lies the Monitor Domain, seat of the Monitor Race and the Main Monitor 416.
• The Monitor states that the Source Wall protected God's Domain from three powerful deities in the Omnipotent Universe 456.
• Ba Di released the imprisoned gods and absorbed the Source Wall, becoming a new foundation for God's Domain rather than destroying it 457 459.
• Once the wall vanished, the blank expanse beyond it was identified as the Main Monitor, or the Great Void 460.

Inhabitants

• Only Gods — Immortal beings whose uniqueness cannot ordinarily be killed; God's Domain is their primary realm of existence 343 425.
• Quasi-@@REF_ENTITY_190026@@ Systems — Powerful divine systems concentrated in Sky City and the Heavenly Realm; some can contend with or seal lower-ranked Only Gods 343 425.
• Pantheons — Asgardians, Olympians, Maya gods, Celtic gods, Egyptian gods, Chinese celestial gods, Kryptonian gods, and others maintain their own Divine Peaks 343 448.
• Angels and Heaven's forces — Heaven possesses numerous first-stage Only Gods and once unified most of God's Domain under the Angel Legion 443 449.
• Demons, New Gods, and the Endless Family — Major powers spread across Hell, Apokolips, New Genesis, Dreaming, Nightmare, and related domains 421 425 449.

Power Hierarchy

Story Role / Major Arcs

• Ba Di's arrival — Ba Di enters God's Domain with the Ba Miu Luo Di Universe, receives a baptism of divine waves, and compresses his universe into Ba Miu Luo Di Planet 415 416.
• Conflict over Ω — Ba Di's Ω symbol divides Darkseid's uniqueness, making their conflict unavoidable. He travels through all nine regions, declares his symbol, and gains notoriety after devastating Nightmare and Hell 418 421.
• Source Wall crisis — Ba Di becomes trapped on the Source Wall, learns of God's Domain's ancient eras, consumes Source material, and eventually frees its imprisoned gods 429 432 457.
• Heaven's domination — Heaven unifies most of God's Domain while portraying itself as its protector. The Heavenly Realm rejects this claim, declaring that Heaven does not represent God's Domain 449 448.
• Ba Di becomes the foundation — Ba Di absorbs the Source Wall and alters God's Domain's foundation, forcing God Wave back toward Heaven and stripping many gods of their former power 459 460.
• God's awakening — God awakens through the God Wave Well, freezes God's Domain, and reveals that Only Gods are food whose uniqueness He consumes to protect the realm 463 464.
• Rebirth — After Ba Di evolves through the Great Evil Beast and absorbs God's negative emotions and uniqueness, God's Domain rejoices and rapidly creates new universes. Following God's dissolution, Ba Di uses God's remaining essence to enrich and renew the realm 467 468.

Relationships

• God — Creator and former guardian of God's Domain; viewed the realm itself as more important than its inhabitants, whom He consumed for their uniqueness 430 465.
• Ba Di / Origin — Entered the realm as the God of Evolution, absorbed the Source Wall, became its foundation, and ultimately renewed it after God's fall 415 459 468.
• Great Evil Beast — The opposing side of God; represents living beings' will to survive rather than be consumed, and fought God over God's Domain's future 465.
• Source Wall — Former outer barrier, prison, and structural component of God's Domain; its removal was made survivable only because Ba Di replaced it as the realm's foundation 456 459.
• Heaven — A dominant internal power that claimed to safeguard God's Domain, but was explicitly distinguished from the realm itself by the Heavenly Realm's gods 447 448.
• Main Monitor — Exists beyond the former Source Wall through the Monitor Domain and is connected to the boundary protecting God's Domain from external threats 416 456 460.
