Source Wall, Burial Ground
A remote place, difficult to reach even in time and space.
The Source Wall, that wall, that prison of despair, a wall that binds the ancient past, from ancient times to the present, to all the great, the humble, and those who merely eked out a living— the Only God.
Rows of decaying, desiccated corpses were arranged in a crisscross pattern, forming a scene of despair that only the Only God in the God's Domain could perceive.
There is a peerless figure, the Only God who has established an unparalleled reputation in the God's Domain.
There were kings more brutal than Darkseid, rulers of the Dark Ages, and terrifying sovereigns.
There are giants who witnessed the birth of the God's Domain, beings who single-handedly Destruction the world.
Without exception, all those renowned figures, those great men known to all, once they get stuck here, have no hope left!
This is the place of despair for all the Only God!
'Bang!'
A tremendous sound, like a meteorite falling from the sky, struck faster than any attempt to travel through time or space.
The irresistible and unstoppable suction of the Source Wall pulled Ba Di's proud divine body to the Source Wall, where he was firmly adhered to the wall in a starfish shape, creating a huge sound. The many Only God around him, who looked like dried corpses, couldn't help but tremble and were awakened.
"A familiar sound..."
"A voice I miss so much..."
Who is it?
"Have no idea."
"Has yet another poor soul arrived at this grave?"
On the Source Wall, many desiccated, Only God slowly opened their closed eyes. Their eyes were filled with the vicissitudes of time, dark and hopeless. Their deep eyes seemed to show Ba Di Only God who had endured the ravages of ancient times, who had been stuck to the Source Wall without any hope.
That was the ancient past, an unknown distance, the Only God unable to break free from the Source Wall. His somber gaze and sighing tone were all experiencing a decay more indescribable than time itself, a despair from which he could never escape.
Ba Di spread his arms wide, pressing them tightly against the Source Wall. He felt a powerful suction force on his back, a force so strong that even his power as the Only God could not break free.
"Ah..."
Veins suddenly burst from Ba Di's body, and blood gushed from his hardened skin. Despite the immense power struggling deep within his marrow, his form remained unshaken, still firmly stuck to the Source Wall.
No matter how much Ba Di struggled, his face contorted in agony as he tried to lift the back of his hand away from the Source Wall, he couldn't. This power, this attraction, was unparalleled in its strength, driving even the gods to despair.
Not only that, the immense suction force that was subtly clinging to his back was absorbing the power of his Only God, constantly drawing in his power and penetrating into the Source Wall.
"It's no use."
"Heh, a discontented one."
"This is a struggle I miss!"
"What a foolish struggle!"
"Save your energy for sleep!"
"Those who come later, conserve your energy."
"The Source Wall has existed for countless ages and through countless great eras, absorbing the power of tens of thousands of Only God to strengthen itself. This suction force is something you cannot break free from."
Seeing Ba Di struggling unwillingly, just as he had been when he first arrived here, the many Only God sneered, their eyes filled with a sigh of mockery.
They struggled just as much back then, helplessly drawn to this place.
The Source Wall will not kill them, nor can it kill them, but that despairing prison, that despairing suction, drains their power, leaving them only to lament here in their twilight years.
It's not that no Only God has died on the Source Wall. If you want to die on the Source Wall, you can only commit suicide, give up your uniqueness, and end this cage.
Only God who has endured endless ages and can no longer bear it will abandon the oneness and choose suicide.
Many beings who have made great names in the God's Domain would rather die than be stuck to the Source Wall forever, choosing suicide over being unfree.
Here, all past honors, fame, and power mean nothing.
Ba Di felt a chill in his heart. He turned to look at the Only God beside him. This was the only action he could take. With difficulty, he stiffened his neck and twisted his head.
What you see is a row of magnificent mummies. Even the greatest cosmic scene cannot compare to the mummies stuck to this wall.
The mummified corpse beside him had skin clinging tightly to its bones, its eyes devoid of any moisture, its pupils sunken and flattened. The skeleton, weathered by ancient times, had long since worn away the mummified corpse's arrogance and domineering aura as the Only God.
Now, he has lost all his former vigor, only sighs of despair, and is more weathered than any old man in his twilight years.
"There's no other way. If you want to die, you can commit suicide."
The mummified corpse beside Ba Di spoke without a trace of emotion. Having lived through countless years, he naturally knew the thoughts of the newcomer, but all of this was in vain.
Ba Di's heart sank to the bottom, surrounded by sighs and self-mockery.
"Hang in there! Perhaps one lucky day, the Source Wall will break."
"Tch, do you even know how long you've held out?"
"Clearly, there was no hope left in my heart."
"I will not give up!"
"I'm ready to commit suicide!"
"Come die with me."
"The will of the Only God cannot be restrained!"
"Hehe!"
Around Ba Di, many of the Only God sighed and mocked themselves. Some were unwilling to accept their fate; these were the New God had only experienced hundreds of thousands of historical eras and still had ambition. As for those who were preparing to commit suicide, they had persisted to the point of no return and were gradually preparing to die.
Ba Di's eyes narrowed, a trace of sorrow flashing through his heart. Looking at the mummified corpse beside him, a corpse that had endured countless years and still persisted, its will undiminished, but its figure devoid of freedom, was beyond despair.
Was he to endure this endlessly, persevering through countless years? To be bound for so long, this was unacceptable to Ba Di, a being who had only been born for tens of thousands of years, Only God who had only achieved enlightenment in a mere tens of thousands of years.
Enduring the years without purpose, just thinking about it, the emptiness made Ba Di feel a silent chill, his heart ice-cold.
suddenly.
'boom...'
'boom...'
'boom...'
A series of vibrating sounds came from afar, so loud that Ba Di could clearly see the skin of the mummified corpses trembling slightly.
In the far distance, a figure, resembling a giant ape, with a robust body, was struggling to climb the wall with his hands. His face was rugged, his breathing was heavy, and his chest heaved as he crawled over the mummified corpses.
The mummified corpses beside him seemed to offer a touch of warmth, cheering on the enormous figure.
"This is the hope we hold onto!"
The mummified corpse beside Ba Di spoke softly, its voice carrying a hint of hope.
"Who is he...?"
"Yuga Khan!"
