Dr. Wells simply translated what he said for them, which greatly shocked the two.

"Could it be that the particle accelerator exploded, creating unknown matter, opening a portal to your world, and sucking you in?"

Everyone was shocked and couldn't believe it, as it sounded too sci-fi and unscientific.

However, they still had much they didn't know about science, and such a situation might be possible, though they couldn't be sure.

"You've just woken up, so get some rest. We need to discuss this. Cisco, Caitlin, come with me..."

Dr. Wells appeased Lin Li and motioned for Cisco and Caitlin to follow him out.

Seeing them leave, Lin Li also breathed a sigh of relief. He didn't know how to face or deal with the situation, and having some time to sort out his thoughts was good.

After calming down and focusing on his body, Lin Li realized his mind was clearer than ever before, his thoughts extremely active and light, as if a heavy burden had been lifted, making him feel like he could fly.

Memories flooded his mind like a torrent.

The warm, milky feeling of being breastfed right after birth...

The sensation of crawling as he learned to walk...

He mused, then looked at his handcuffed hands.

With a slight pull, the handcuffs snapped in two.

Lin Li twisted his hands, and the remaining half of the handcuffs warped and cracked before he flung them to the ground.

He pushed himself up with his hands.

The immense physical strength dispelled his gloom, filling him with joy.

'What are my powers? Being struck by lightning along with Barry, I should have gained the Speed Force.'

He thought, feeling a hint of excitement.

The Speed Force.

A force independent of the four fundamental forces.

Unparalleled speed.

Speed beyond the speed of light.

The speed to travel through time.

He calmed his excitement, closed his eyes, and quietly sensed himself.

Slowly, he felt some inexplicable energy in his head, as if it were connected to another end.

His consciousness seemed to transform into a bolt of lightning, and his neural information flowed through his body like electric current.

His strong, powerful heart pumped blood, and with the blood flow, he could see his internal organs like his liver, heart, spleen, lungs, and kidneys.

His cells seemed to cheer at his inspection, transmitting feelings of joy and hunger.

His entire body felt strong and hungry!

Yes, very hungry.

Every cell in his body was sending out messages of dryness, hunger, and a craving to "eat."

Lin Li opened his eyes, silver lightning flashing within them.

He raised his hands above his head, silver arcs erupting from his fingertips, and Lin Li felt he could control the electricity in the entire room.

Crackle.

Electrical circuits shorted and failed.

The smell of burning filled the air.

Over a dozen power lines were scorched.

Countless currents surged towards him from above.

Mad currents wrapped around his fingertips, crackling loudly, and flowed into his body, devoured greedily by his cells.

A terrifying silver electrical net formed above the room, flowing towards Lin Li with a hiss.

Cisco and Caitlin followed Dr. Wells out the door and, after confirming Lin Li likely couldn't hear them, "This is impossible, Dr. Wells. It's highly probable that lightning fried his brain, or he's hallucinating and disoriented."

Caitlin said, being an expert in bioengineering, she leaned towards Lin Li suffering from hallucinations.

"Not necessarily. The dark matter that appeared from the particle accelerator explosion is beyond our understanding. It's entirely possible it caused interdimensional travel. How amazing is that? Another Earth besides ours."

Cisco fell into a fantasy. What a crazy, great discovery this was, simply unimaginable. As a scientist, to witness something like this was truly a stroke of luck.

"Caitlin, give Lin Li a full check-up. Cisco, perhaps we need to prepare something special for this visitor from another world."

Dr. Wells smiled, believing Lin Li's words because he himself was no different from Lin Li.

Bang... Bang... Bang...

The sounds from the surgery room interrupted their conversation.

"NO~~NO~NO~~NONONONO"

Hearing the noise, Cisco was the first to rush to the surgery room, and the scene before him made him cry out in shock.

The smell of burning. Electrical appliances spitting sparks. Currents gathering above the room. Lin Li's entire body surrounded by electricity.

All of this was shaking his nerves.

"Lin Li, Lin Li..."

Dr. Wells, pushed along by Caitlin, rushed over, shouting his name.

Lin Li heard his name and suddenly woke up. He had only subconsciously wanted to replenish his energy, not expecting to cause electronic equipment malfunctions, rampant currents, and a net of electricity above the room.

Seeing Lin Li conscious, Dr. Wells quickly gave instructions.

"Cisco, go cut off the power to the surgery room immediately. Lin Li, absorb it slowly. If you can't absorb it, guide it underground. Can you do that?"

Cisco immediately ran off to cut the power upon hearing this.

As the power was cut, within 5 seconds, the silver arcing electricity in the room was immediately sucked into Lin Li's body.

Calm returned, leaving the room in disarray.

"Are you okay?"

Caitlin asked.

Lin Li controlled the current within his body, and his eyes gradually changed back from silver arcs to normal black pupils.

"OK."

He understood such simple English.

Dr. Wells said, "What happened to you? Why did you suddenly attract electricity into your body?"

Before Lin Li could answer, Caitlin cried out in surprise.

"Barry Allen!"

The area near Barry's bed was also in chaos. Instruments, respirators, and other equipment had been pulled off moments ago. His body was convulsing violently, shaking on the bed as if he were having a seizure.

"Quick, come help! We need to move him. The equipment here is broken. Damn it, the tranquilizers aren't working either."

Caitlin rushed over and held Barry down.

Just as Barry started to convulse, Lin Li felt a strange energy stir within his mind. This energy seemed connected to Barry and kept urging Lin Li to approach him.

What's going on? What is this in my head? It keeps telling me to get close to Barry?

Lin Li, full of doubt, walked closer to Barry and placed his hand on Barry's chest.

The moment he touched Barry's chest, yellow arcs of electricity flashed on Barry's chest.

Barry stopped convulsing and calmed down.

The strange energy in his mind, when his hand touched Barry's chest, flickered like electricity and then subsided.

"...Where am I? Who are you? Why are you putting your hand on my chest?"

Barry Allen gasped and suddenly sat up in bed.

The Flash had awakened.
