STAR Labs, Main Control Room.

"What? You're telling me I was struck by lightning and blacked out for eight months! Then who is this guy? A vortex suddenly appeared in the room that night, he fell out and hit me, then a lightning strike hit both of us, and after that I lost consciousness."

Barry pointed at Lin Li, asking in surprise.

"Are you sure he appeared from a vortex and hit you?"

"YES, I wasn't unconscious then, I saw it very clearly."

Barry said affirmatively.

"Oh my god, this is real!"

"This is so cool."

Cisco and Caitlin exclaimed in shock.

Lin Li was helpless as they pointed and gestured at him, completely unable to understand. He only knew that their gazes towards him were as amazed as if they were looking at an alien.

This is bad. It seems the first thing I should do is learn English. My brain has already been struck, so learning English should be easier.

Lin Li couldn't hear what they were saying and just stood aside, watching them talk.

Then Dr. Wells took Barry away.

About half an hour later, it's worth mentioning that during this half hour, Lin Li felt like Cisco and Caitlin were like two little mice, hiding on the side, curiously watching and discussing him.

Dr. Wells took Barry for a tour, and after returning to the main control room.

Lin Li heard the familiar name Iris, and then, just like in the TV show, Barry rushed out in a hurry, presumably to meet his childhood sweetheart Iris.

Poor Barry, he doesn't know Iris has a boyfriend yet.

After failing to stop Barry from leaving, Dr. Wells said to Lin Li, "Lin Li, you'll need to stay at STAR Labs for a while. We need to understand your body and what your world is like. All of this is too miraculous."

Lin Li said, "Okay, Dr. Wells, I'll leave it to you. Please also find me some English learning materials. It's too difficult not understanding what you're saying."

After Dr. Wells responded with a smile, he and Cisco and Caitlin started talking about something.

After they finished, Caitlin walked up to Lin Li and took out a small cup...

Dr. Wells said, "Then let's just do a simple check-up on your body's health. After all, you experienced abnormalities before, so we can't be sure if your body is okay. We'll do a more detailed examination tomorrow."

After a simple check of all aspects of his body, there were no problems.

Dr. Wells then took Lin Li to get several sets of STAR Labs branded sportswear, briefly explained the functions of each room, and arranged a room for Lin Li to stay in. There were previously staff members who lived at STAR Labs, so finding a room wasn't difficult.

The room was quite small, with a bed and a display screen opposite the bed.

Two hours later, Cisco knocked on his room door with a curious expression and handed him a tablet, pointing to an icon on the tablet. It was an English-Chinese translation textbook.

"Thank you"

He still knew how to say "thank you" in English.

After seeing off Cisco, whose eyes were shining, Lin Li sat on the bed and connected his room's large display screen wirelessly using the tablet. Everything was labeled in Chinese, so there was no fear of not understanding.

When you focus on doing something, you'll find that time passes very quickly.

The hardest part of learning English is remembering the vast number of words. Grammar is secondary. This is a piece of cake for Lin Li, as he already has photographic memory.

He didn't have Barry's lightning-fast speed of flipping through a book to learn, but learning a foreign language in twenty minutes, can you believe it?

Lin Li couldn't believe it himself, so to verify, he learned French, Russian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and German.

In the end, he could proudly say that he was now a multi-lingual master.

Meanwhile, on the other side, after Barry, The Flash, left STAR Labs and went to the coffee shop, he didn't see Iris and planned to return to the Central City Police Department.

Unfortunately, halfway there, he encountered Iris and Eddie kissing. The moment he saw it, Barry's mood became very complicated, and he felt a pang of jealousy inside.

Finally, Iris also noticed Barry. Of course, she was very happy. She sent Eddie away and went shopping with Barry for a while.

When Barry learned that it was because he had been unconscious that Eddie filled in for Joe and went to check on him, and that's how he and Iris got together.

Barry felt so wronged he almost cried.

If only he hadn't been unconscious...

That evening, Joe and Iris cooked a big meal to celebrate Barry's recovery.

Lin Li didn't sleep all night, nor did he continuously study languages. He only learned about a dozen languages before stopping. He browsed the news and found some very interesting news, where he discovered Green Arrow.

He hadn't watched Green Arrow, but he knew it was a very popular TV series, and The Flash was a spin-off of Green Arrow, with frequent crossovers.

After watching the news for a while, he remembered his own superpower. His superpower was electricity manipulation. Although this was also good, Lin Li was still disappointed. Lin Li felt a surge of energy in his mind, the Speed Force, surrounding his brain, but he couldn't feel its effect on his brain. This meant that Lin Li's photographic memory and active thinking had nothing to do with this surge of the Speed Force. Moreover, this surge of the Speed Force could interact with Barry's Speed Force in some unknown way, which made him a little worried.

Around nine o'clock in the morning, Caitlin came to knock on his door.

"Mr. Lin Li, Cisco and I will be checking your body today, please cooperate."

Caitlin held her phone and showed Lin Li the screen of an English-Chinese translation app.

Lin Li smiled and said, "Caitlin, there's no need for that. I can speak English."

His accent was a bit strange, but that's how it is when anyone learns a foreign language. However, that wasn't the point.

"You can speak English?"

Caitlin asked suspiciously. Yesterday, he had seemed completely unable to speak it.

Lin Li pointed to his head. "Eight months ago, I was struck here, which unlocked my brain's potential and enhanced my intelligence and thinking abilities. I'm smarter than Albert now."

His English was perfect.

Caitlin's eyes widened in surprise. Just yesterday, Lin Li could only say simple phrases like "thank you" and "hello." To learn a complete foreign language after just one night of studying – what kind of learning speed was this? It was unbelievable. Were people from other worlds this intelligent?

After her initial shock, as a bioengineering expert, she expressed great interest in examining him.

"Mr. Lin Li, I'd like to examine your brain first later."

Lin Li readily agreed. He also intended to understand his own body better.

"Of course, you can just call me Lin Li."
