Throughout the Flash TV series, the Speed Force is always depicted as being close to the laws of physics, yet it also capriciously disregards all physical laws. In the TV series, it's best to just enjoy the ride and not overthink it, because anyone seeking reality in a virtual world must have something wrong with their brain.
However, it's different after crossing over into this world. The world will definitely give you a reasonable explanation, no matter how far-fetched, you must accept it, because that is reality.
Lin Li was fortunate enough to be taken along by two people using the Speed Force, and he even experienced the Speed Force mode for those 2-3 seconds.
Based on his experience and understanding, he discovered that when a speedster runs, their cells emit Speed Force, forming a Speed Force Field. This field is like the personal bio-field Lin Li researched, except this is a field manifested by the Speed Force.
The Speed Force Field protects the speedster, which is why they are always crackling with lightning, just like Barry's yellow arcs and Wells' red arcs, both are manifestations of the Speed Force Field in action.
Speedsters move at high speeds by relying on the Speed Force. Although they can move at high speeds, they don't possess relative kinetic energy. Or rather, all kinetic energy manifested by a speedster is converted into a type of speed energy, Speed Energy, on the Speed Force Field. Pure Speed Energy allows the speedster to run faster. While running, there is no increase in kinetic energy because it's all converted into Speed Energy. The Speed Energy formed by various movements has a hint of other kinetic energies, but most of it is not.
Also, because of the existence of this Speed Energy conversion, the idea of throwing a rock at super-speed, where the rock's acceleration generates kinetic energy that can instantly kill anyone, doesn't exist. The Speed Force creates super-high speeds, and under the Speed Force's influence, there is only pure speed-generated Speed Energy, not the application of other physics laws. It can collect kinetic energy and convert it into Speed Energy, but Speed Energy cannot be fully converted back into kinetic energy.
Simply put, the Speed Force is almost completely independent and not as closely related to the other four fundamental forces as one might imagine.
Lin Li sat cross-legged on the ground, looking at his tablet, carefully formulating his theories. He didn't know if they were correct, but he could only guess based on the Flash TV series and his current scientific knowledge.
Sigh, no wonder people on the forums always say the Speed Force ****s all the laws of physics.
Lin Li sighed inwardly.
He scratched his head, his brows furrowed deeply into a character resembling the Chinese character 'river'.
He needed to thoroughly understand what the Speed Force was. This power made him start to feel uneasy, especially the Speed Force that enveloped his head. No matter how he thought about it, it shouldn't be in his head. Even if it was, once it was almost depleted, it should just disappear. Now, whenever Barry starts running, the remaining bit of Speed Force returns to its original state. What was going on?
Unexplainable, incomprehensible.
Perhaps it would be better to ask the Speed Force directly. After all, in the second season, Barry had the experience of entering the Speed Force and talking to its personification. Maybe he could also talk to the Speed Force and tell it to get out of his head quickly.
Lin Li rubbed his face heavily and let out a frustrated sigh. He scrolled through Barry's data on the tablet and opened the dynamics file to continue studying. He couldn't figure out the Speed Force for now, so he'd leave it be. He'd see if he could get some information from Dr. Wells later.
Lin Li continued his studies.
Cisco was monitoring from the control room.
Caitlin was researching in surgery.
Wells was in the Time Vault, looking at future newspapers and contemplating.
Joe and Eddie were searching for Mardon.
Barry was running aimlessly, stopping and starting, unsure of his destination. He was feeling a bit lost until that evening when he remembered someone and started running towards the road.
"This is my story. I never imagined that I would spend my entire life searching for miracles and never thought I would become the miracle."
Star City, countless high-rise buildings, office lights brightly lit, streets bustling with traffic.
On a rooftop surrounded by skyscrapers.
Barry said to him.
Oliver Queen, wearing a green hooded jacket and holding a bow and arrow.
Oliver Queen faced Barry and said, "So you ran over 600 miles just to say hello to a friend and talk about your meta-human friend?"
"No, Oliver, I want to protect my city and fight criminals like you. You are my idol. I didn't have the ability before, but now I have the ability, yet against a real enemy, I'm completely defenseless and getting beaten badly. Maybe Joe is right, I'm just fantasizing about being a hero, a beautiful fantasy."
Barry said dejectedly. Joe's words still bothered him, and he doubted himself.
"You're doubting yourself too, Barry. Everyone needs to grow. Why did this ability choose you and not someone else? Because you have a special quality that inspires and motivates everyone."
Oliver Queen said. Barry and he were different types of people, but they shared the same goal.
Barry shook his head and said, "Oliver, I'm not sure if I can really be a vigilante like you."
"Barry, you can do even better. You can protect your city like a guardian angel."
"Change that city, save the masses, like lightning."
"I believe in you, and you need to believe in yourself too."
"Remember, like you taught me, wear a mask."
After saying that, Oliver Queen smiled and put on his eye mask.
Then he leaped down, an arrow shot into a building on the opposite side, and the rope attached to the arrow allowed him to swing between the buildings.
Oliver Queen's smile gave Barry great encouragement, and he regained his lost confidence.
Barry watched the Green Arrow swinging, saying with admiration.
"Cool."
It was an expression of approval for Green Arrow's actions and his own envy.
Green Arrow, also hanging from a tall building, looked at a streak of yellow light and uttered the same word.
"Cool."
It was an appreciation for having the ability and the willingness to protect his city.
Barry admired Green Arrow's actions of protecting the city.
Green Arrow admired Barry's will to protect the city.
Barry was like a newborn child, learning how to protect the city.
A few days later, Barry, still wearing his red suit, was zipping through the streets and alleys of Central City, still at odds with Joe.
Madden had vanished without a trace.
Lin Li could only hold the tablet, continuing to study various kinds of knowledge.
Jack, a very common name, likely one of hundreds of thousands or even millions. He was a small-time hoodlum in the city, not daring to commit major crimes but constantly sneaking around committing petty ones.
Long-term drug use had left his face withered. At only thirty, he looked like a man in his fifties or sixties, with slack, dark eyelids.
"Damn cops, making me lose my 'food.' Next time, I'll definitely bring a gun and take care of them."
He shivered, his nose twitching incessantly as his drug craving began to hit. When he went to buy his 'food' today, the police had coincidentally arrived at the bar for an inspection. Luckily, he'd managed to ditch the 'food' in time and avoided jail. However, his luck wasn't great; the 'food' had ended up in a sewer and was washed away somewhere, impossible to find.
Jack's hand trembled as he opened the door. He lived in the basement of a very messy apartment building, a place his aunt had pityingly given him.
The room inside was a chaotic mess, with clothes, condoms, and fast-food containers strewn everywhere.
He turned on the light, and someone was sitting in the room waiting for him.
"Clyde Mardon."
