The Great Battle
"Is this the Dragonblood Warrior?" a boy of about eleven or twelve years old next to Nina asked, holding Nina hand. Nina looked at the figure on the battle platform and nodded, "Yes, this is the legendary strongest Ultimate Warrior."
Given Nina and Wharton's relationship, Wharton had already demonstrated the transformation to Nina.
"Dragonblood Warrior, not bad." Blumer looked at Wharton and burst into laughter. "However, my Achisoren Family has never considered the Four Ultimate Warriors to be the strongest."
Blumer stared coldly at Wharton, then drew the longsword from his back.
The longsword's blade was translucent, like a block of ice. Under the sunlight, it reflected a dreamlike, seven-colored light. Blumer looked confidently at Wharton and said loudly, "This is the precious sword Ice Dream, a gift from my elder brother."
Wharton, wielding the battle sword Warblade Slaughter, said coldly, "The Battle Sword Warblade Slaughter is the heirloom of my Baruch Clan, the personal weapon of the first generation of Dragonblood Warrior."
"Oh?" Blumer sneered.
The entire arena fell silent, everyone's eyes wide open, intently watching this battle of geniuses, afraid of missing a single detail.
"Call!"
In the blink of an eye, Blumer vanished from his spot, creating a sudden Gale on the platform. This was the powerful wind that Blumer had generated at Extreme Speed.
A strong wind blew across Wharton's face, but Wharton stood motionless.
"Huh?" Wharton suddenly noticed Blumer's figure on his left. Just as Wharton turned around to rush forward and prepare to attack, he felt a strong Extreme Speed rushing towards him from his right.
indeed.
To his right is Blumer's true form.
Blumer sneered at Wharton, his Ice Dream sword slashing mercilessly at Wharton. But Wharton, with his back to him, was instantly struck by the dragon's tail, which lashed out like a steel whip.
"Crack!" The dragon's tail lashed out hard against the Ice Dream Longsword, and the tip of the tail struck Blumer's body.
"Boom!"
Blumer was sent flying like a sandbag by the blow. In mid-air, Blumer performed a graceful somersault and landed on his knees at the edge of the battle platform.
All the audience members held their breath; they dared not shout.
"Pfft." Blumer spat out a mouthful of blood, then looked at the spot on his chest where the dragon's tail had struck him. His clothes were torn open, and even though his chest was protected by battle aura, the aura shield had still been ripped open, leaving a very noticeable wound from which blood slowly oozed.
Wharton then turned around. His dark eyes coldly stared at Blumer, a glint of gold flashing in Wharton.
"Such powerful strength," Blumer murmured.
Without a doubt, warriors of the same level are no match for the Dragonblood Warrior in terms of strength and attack power. Even a single swipe of Wharton's dragon tail would be enough to severely injure Blumer.
Blumer understood completely. When fighting Wharton, he couldn't afford to be hit by Wharton's attacks. Just now, only the tip of the dragon's tail had lashed his body. If he had been hit squarely, it probably wouldn't have been as simple as it was now.
Thump!
Wharton slammed his powerful thigh against the ground, causing the battle platform, protected by a magic circle, to tremble. Wharton, leaving a trail of afterimages, instantly covered a hundred meters and rushed directly in front of Blumer.
"Drink!"
The battle Warblade Slaughter, carrying boundless power, slashed down, and Blumer immediately dodged to the side without hesitation. As Wharton unleashed his strike, he also began to spin, his legs spinning Extreme Speed like a windmill, aiming a vicious blow at Blumer.
Blumer didn't dare to block directly and continued to retreat at Extreme Speed.
"Snap!" Even with his swift retreat, the dragon's tail still lashed out like lightning. Blumer quickly used his Ice Dream Sword to block it.
"Boom!" Even though the blow landed on the Ice Dream Sword, the terrifying impact still sent Blumer crashing into the distant stands. Those on the stands immediately dodged, and Blumer slammed heavily onto the stands.
"Boom!" The stone grandstand shattered, sending debris flying and a cloud of dust billowing out.
The onlookers gasped in shock; the Dragonblood Warrior were truly terrifying. Their formidable scale armor allowed them to clash their legs, arms, and even their tails against the enemy's weapons.
They hold an absolute advantage.
With a roar, Blumer burst out of the dust, but instead of heading for Wharton, he charged to the other side of the battle platform.
After clicking on the ground three times in a row, Blumer was on the other side.
"Blumer, you are destined to lose," Wharton said coldly.
Blumer was covered in blood, but Blumer still stood ramrod straight. Blumer didn't look at Wharton, but at the longsword in his hand. "Originally, I wanted to defeat you with the swordsmanship I had learned on my own, but now it seems I can only use the swordsmanship my elder brother taught me."
"Big Brother's swordsmanship?"
Haydson, standing in the stands, heard everything clearly. "Is that Olivier's Light and Shadow Sword? I wonder how much of Olivier's skill he's learned?" Lin Feng, standing below, also frowned.
Olivier's swordsmanship?
"Remember, it was the Light and Shadow Sword that defeated you!" Blumer said coldly, and suddenly the Ice Dream Sword in Blumer's hand was covered with a layer of golden sword light.
"Buzz!"
Strangely, Blumer on the battle platform suddenly transformed from one figure into two, and his longsword also multiplied into two. Then, the figure split again, becoming two, four, and eight.
This scene is too bizarre.
"What astonishing speed. No wonder Wharton lost to this Blumer in the original book." With Lin Feng's current level of understanding, he could tell that Blumer had achieved this through astonishing speed.
Although Lin Feng didn't think much of this speed, it was still quite remarkable for a level nine expert to achieve such a speed.
Wharton watched this scene intently, feeling as if Blumer's figure was all around him, and Blumer's speed was much greater than he had estimated.
You're doomed.
The icy voice seemed to shout out simultaneously from among the many phantoms. Just as Wharton was on guard, the light and shadow shifted, Blumer was suddenly in front of him.
"Pfft!"
Wharton didn't have time to block with his sword; he could only bend his arm and shoulder to block the sword. "Clang!" Like metal clashing, the Ice Dream Sword only left a white mark on Wharton's body, while Wharton's dragon tail lashed out with a "whoosh!"
But then Blumer disappeared again.
If the first attack misses, retreat immediately.
"What happened?" Wharton asked in surprise. "How did he suddenly appear in front of me?"
Lin Feng, however, understood. "Using the illusion of light and shadow, he makes it impossible for the opponent to notice his true form approaching, and then, relying on his astonishing speed, he arrives in front of them before they can even react."
"Why are there so many figures?" The 80,000 spectators were dumbfounded. On the battle stage, there were sixteen figures of Blumer. Every time a blinding golden light flashed, Blumer's figure would appear in another position.
The number of these figures always remains at sixteen.
One figure vanished, and another appeared in a different spot. Each transformation was accompanied by a flash of golden light.
