Background / History

Martial Soul Hall found Shang An as a child with no traceable origin. Its investigation found no record of a missing or abandoned child in the area where he had been discovered; Bibi Dong concluded that he seemed to have simply appeared there. Shang An, however, is a reincarnated cultivator with memories and knowledge beyond the Douluo Continent. 3 5

After arriving at the Pope Palace, he became Bibi Dong’s disciple. Recognizing her obsessions and paranoia as a threat to Martial Soul Hall’s future, he deliberately used his Psychic Power to influence her thoughts while she slept, intending to steer her away from the path she would otherwise follow. 3 5
