Background / History

Qian Renxue was raised primarily by her grandfather, Qian Daoliu. Her father, Qian Xunji, treated her birth as a task, while her mother Bibi Dong remained distant and rejecting; as a child, Qian Renxue would seek comfort from Qian Daoliu after being scolded by Bibi Dong. 59 105 147

She infiltrated the Heaven Dou Empire by assuming the identity of Crown Prince Xue Qinghe. The role required her to maintain a gentle, jade-like princely facade while managing government affairs and political schemes. In private, she found the constant impersonation exhausting and relieved to return to her own appearance. 15

As Xue Qinghe, Qian Renxue cultivated influence throughout the empire, including attempting to shape the Bala Kingdom’s succession around a controllable heir. Much of Heaven Dou’s government was eventually infiltrated by Martial Soul Hall agents, allowing her to leave the empire without fear of administrative collapse. 57 147

Encounters with Shang An

Shang An infiltrates her Eastern Palace and eventually reveals that he has known her true identity. Qian Renxue attacks him with Holy Sword but is immobilized by his Taiyi Immobilizing Divine Light, beginning a tense dynamic in which her pride and jealousy repeatedly clash with her growing attachment to him. 45 47 58 59

Truth of Her Birth and Inner Demon
