The fairies immediately panicked, their sobs, pleas, and curses mixing together:

"No! You can't do this!"

"Artoria! Save us!"

"Traitor! You'll die a horrible death!"

Yet their wailing was soon dragged into the distance. The Knights of the Round Table mercilessly hauled those fairies away toward the woods, leaving only their cries fading farther and farther behind.

Artoria Caster stared blankly at the scene, her hands clasped tightly before her chest, her eyes filled with complicated emotions. She opened her mouth as if to say something, but in the end, she only lowered her head.

Mashu gently walked to her side and comforted her softly. "This isn't your fault, Miss Caster. Those fairies... their hands are stained with the blood of their own kind."

Artoria Caster nodded faintly, her voice so soft it was almost inaudible. "I know... It's just, seeing my own kind like this... still hurts."

Mordred came back with her sword over her shoulder and snorted disdainfully. "Scum like that is better cleaned up sooner rather than later. Father, you're just too kind."

The other Artorias present also nodded in agreement. Artoria herself walked over to Caster and lightly patted her on the shoulder.

"There's no need to blame yourself for this. As a king, sometimes you have to make cruel decisions."

As she spoke, however, her gaze unconsciously drifted toward Mordred and Lancelot, a hint of complicated emotion showing in her eyes.

Merlin watched all of this from the side, looking thoughtful as he murmured, "It seems this world's Artoria has been through more than we imagined..."

Merli rolled her eyes at him. "At least you finally said something decent."

A few faint, shrill screams came from deep within the woods, but they soon sank into silence.
