Mo Wang braced himself, picked up a pen, and began tackling the mountain of documents.
After reviewing only a few, he felt the densely packed words begin dancing before his eyes as the room spun around him.
"Annual supplies inventory report... power system maintenance records... Servant mana supply balance sheet..." He wailed as he flipped through them. "What the hell is all this?!"
He tossed the pen aside and slumped bonelessly into his chair, staring up at the ceiling. "I'm a Creator God, for crying out loud. Am I not even worthy of having a secretary? Is that reasonable?"
Mashu's diligent, responsible figure instinctively surfaced in his mind.
That was right. Back then, his considerate junior had handled most of these documents for him—organizing them, categorizing them, and even offering suggestions in advance. But the moment he recalled Mashu storming off from his side in a huff earlier, Mo Wang immediately deflated.
"It's over. Even Mashu is mad at me this time." He covered his face in agony. "It must be because I went off on another adventure alone without taking her... Great. Now I can't even find anyone to help me."
He scratched at his head, racking his brains for a way to escape this sea of paperwork. He even began seriously considering whether he should look for outsourced help in the group.
Though the versions of himself in the group would probably want to die after seeing this stuff too.
With a soft creak, the office door was pushed open.
Mo Wang froze and looked up. What he saw nearly made him slide right out of his chair.
Artoria stood in the doorway. What nearly made his eyes pop out, however, was that she was not wearing her familiar blue dress armor, nor any casual attire, but a
